kybun Opinions

The relief from plantar fasciitis is good. I worry I’ll never be able to go back to all my other shoes but kybun shoes have already changed my life for the better.

Kate Malone MBE, Ceramicist from England

The kybun shoe gives me stability and comfort that enables me to walk longer and further without discomfort.

Dr. Neil Roberts, retired GP from England

I have been a polyarthritis and soft tissue rheumatism patient for many years and have had quite a few attempts with orthopedically converted shoes and insoles that never quite fit properly, despite repeated modifications. Walking for any length of time caused me severe pain. As a dog owner and passionate hiker, I depend on being able to walk effectively. A colleague of mine first introduced me to the kybun shoe. Since then, I have been enjoying my dog walking without pain. At one point, I had to go back to orthopaedic shoes because I also had a hallux and a hammertoe. Very quickly I started to experience pain in the affected foot, knee issues and lower back problems. I immediately switched back to the kybun shoe and now I can walk pain-free again. Longer hikes are also possible and that includes walking downhill!

Barbara Bürgin, Head of the crèche Purzelhuus, Switzerland

When they play with the mats, they put them on top of one another or put blocks underneath them. They’ve also taken balls from the ball pit, put those underneath the mats and then sped along the floor. They’ll always be creative if they’re permitted a chance.

Barbara Bürgin, Head of the crèche Purzelhuus, Switzerland

Hansruedi Baumann, sport pedagogue from Switzerland

We at ‘Mut tut gut!’ are trying to give parents, guardians and teachers tips on how they can create stimulating learning environments so that children can move freely, intensively and have fun at the same time. The soft, elastic mats from kybun also count as stimulating and diverse materials. They encourage children to roll, do somersaults, and bounce just like on a small trampoline. Of course, they are also great for jumping on. The children also use them for building, as somewhere to sit when looking at books or as somewhere to get better. This means the mats are almost a guarantee that the children will learn how to do a somersault – something that is no longer a given these days.

Hansruedi Baumann, sport pedagogue from Switzerland

Esther Näf visitor kybun World, Switzerland

Wearing it feels really great. I only took it off so that my shoes would match my clothes. But I have already bought two pairs and will definitely wear them.

Esther Näf visitor kybun World, Switzerland

Paul Krähemann visitor kybun World, Switzerland

I think it’s great! It takes the weight off your back. It felt a bit funny at first, but after a while I was gradually able to get used to it.

Paul Krähemann visitor kybun World, Switzerland

Heidi Frei from Switzerland

It took me at least ten years to regain some sense of normality in my life. I have been back on my feet for the last five years, and now I’d like to be able to walk without feeling any pain. That’s why I ended up trying out the kybun shoe. I will wear this shoe for the rest of my life. Wearing this shoe is a true pleasure.

Heidi Frei from Switzerland

Carlo Bachmann from Switzerland

The deciding factor was noticing that it forced me to walk differently – for example, in a way that means there is no impact on my joints. In particular, my ankle joint and left knee always hurt a lot. It’s already got a bit better. Of course, I wasn’t expecting to correct 30 years in two months. But I have already made significant progress in that direction.

Carlo Bachmann from Switzerland

Michel from Wetzikon, Switzerland

I think it’s important for people who are in the same situation as I was in three weeks ago to know that there is hope. That not all hope is lost just because it takes effort and discomfort to stand in the kitchen and cook, and perhaps not be able to do anything else afterwards. I really believe that if you have painful feet when you’re walking, moving, or going out it’s at least worth a try. The advice you get here is fantastic. I only know the shop in Rüti because it’s near to where I live. They made a huge effort to advise me, to make recommendations, and to help me, and they wouldn’t let me leave until I was 100% sure that I had the right shoe.

Michel from Wetzikon, Switzerland

Patrick Steimann chef Hotel Hirschen in Wildhaus, Schweiz

It’s a dream, I didn’t believe it before I tried them out. I’m very impressed with the grip that you get because this isn’t obvious from the sole. A grip like other safety shoes. That’s why I’m so impressed. Oil or water – no problem at all.

Patrick Steimann chef Hotel Hirschen in Wildhaus, Schweiz

Bettina Steimann, reception manager Hotel Hirschen in Wildhaus, Switzerland

I would absolutely recommend that you try it out. Like I said, it’s like walking on a cloud, you’re a lot more comfortable. I find that you notice you’re doing something good for the body by having to keep your balance all the time. You somehow notice every muscle more than you did before.

Bettina Steimann, reception manager Hotel Hirschen in Wildhaus, Switzerland

Samuel Gerber from Switzerland

It got so bad, that I had to walk with crutches for a time, because I really couldn’t walk anymore. There are so many things you can try. You can give insoles a go, but it’s all very expensive and that doesn’t ecessarily mean that they will even work. You end up having to buy new shoes anyway to insert the insoles, and those don’t come cheap, either. You’re much better off just buying a kybun shoe. It really improves your health. It straightens up your posture, for example. It simply takes the load off your back and other areas. Every part of you becomes more relaxed by simply moving as you walk.

Samuel Gerber from Switzerland

Kathrin Gerber-Blaser from Switzerland

I walked a bit funny initially, and it took some time, but now I don’t have any pains whatsoever in my spine. I’m happy that I have this shoe. I would never give it away! Without a doubt, I would never give these shoes away. I still have other shoes, but I must say that I don’t wear them very often. Thanks to the kybun shoe, I’ve been bringing the dogs for a lot of walks, and that’s been the best thing ever!

Kathrin Gerber-Blaser from Switzerland

Yvonne Heule, kybun World visitor from Switzerland

How did you find out about kybun World? I first discovered kybun World at the RHEMA trade fair in Altstätten. I received a voucher when I visited the stand. How have you found the elastic springy feel of the kybun shoe? I almost exclusively wear kybun shoes now, because walking in these shoes is totally different to walking in shoes with conventional soles. What did you enjoy about the tour you went on at kybun World? It was very interesting to see how important a shoe like this can be to your well-being.

Yvonne Heule, kybun World visitor from Switzerland

Carlo Bachmann from Switzerland

I walk differently now when I wear different shoes. I don’t drag my foot as much and I can push off from my heel. I wasn’t able to do that the past few years; I just walked as best I could.

Carlo Bachmann from Switzerland

John Jacko from Malaysia

Since 2016 I have taken 11'606'690 steps on the elastic cushion sole of the kybun shoe. With each of my shoes, I took an average of 3.8 million steps.

Dr. med. Sabine Bleuel, orthopaedist, trauma, hand and foot surgeon

What does the specialist for orthopaedics and trauma surgery have to say about the kybun concept?

Dr. med. Sabine Bleuel, orthopaedist, trauma, hand and foot surgeon

Michel from Wetzikon, Switzerland

I’m not exaggerating when I say that these shoes have probably added a few more years to my life. Although my disease is very rare, I suspect there are a lot of people who have similar difficulties. People who can’t walk or leave the house, who have gout and so on, could benefit a lot from these shoes. It’s like walking on a cloud, and if just standing in the kitchen causes you pain the shoes’ effects are absolutely sensational.

Michel from Wetzikon, Switzerland

Jiří Šedivý, M.D., head of the Department of Orthopedics, Jihlava Hospital, Czech Republic

kybun shoes ideally combine three important factors of healthy and pleasant walking in shoes – the springiness of every step, comfort – thanks to the perfect shape and spaciousness of the shoe – and easy lower extremities workout and exercise just through regular walking, thanks to the principle of the unstable underfoot. Engaging maximum muscles of lower extremities as well as the torso automatically leads to their strengthening. Involving all muscles in regular walking also results in significant performance boost of the “muscle pump”, which has a wholesome effect on the venous and lymphatic system of lower extremities. Walking in these shoes therefore relieves chronic back and joint pain, is beneficial for overstrained tendons and ligaments and last but not least it can reduce tension and pressure in calves. The main use of kybun shoes is for me walking on hard surfaces – walking to work in the city, intensive city tourism (excursion tours, etc.). But you will greatly benefit from them in lighter terrain as well. Put on the kybun shoes and your feet will be grateful to you!! On top of that, they are just comfy to walk in…

Jiří Šedivý, M.D., head of the Department of Orthopedics, Jihlava Hospital, Czech Republic

Stephanie Bruhin, manager of a shop Winterthur, Switzerland

You walk a lot more gently, it’s more comfortable to stand. It’s much more pleasant now to spend the entire day at work, which is about ten to 12 hours.

Juhani Turunen from Finnland

After 18 full marathons and several half ones, I recently had to quit running because of pain in the lower back and the legs. The medical diagnosis was Spinal Stenosis. But I never stopped moving. Thanks to the combination of kybun shoes and Pilates, I am able to make long walking-tours and hiking in the wonderful Finnish nature.

Juhani Turunen from Finnland

Bettina Forrer, waitress from Switzerland

I think that it also has very good traction. If you walk into the kitchen and the floor is wet, you don’t feel as if you’re going to slip. That’s a good reason to wear them when you have this kind of job.

Bettina Forrer, waitress from Switzerland

Klaus Nussbaumer, CEO Pizolbahnen AG

I had only ever heard about kybun shoes. I’ve worn them quite often since we’ve started our partnership. They’re really comfortable to walk around in. They also help my locomotor system.

Klaus Nussbaumer, CEO Pizolbahnen AG

Franz Heinzer, World Champion and Swiss Ski Junior Coach

If I need to stand for a long time or spend a lot of time on my feet, then I put them on. I even go on mountain runs while wearing my kybun shoes. They’re suitable for light exercise. But I really do need them for exercising.

Franz Heinzer, World Champion and Swiss Ski Junior Coach

Björn Caviezel, CEO Heidiland Tourismus AG

It’s the shoe for every occasion. If you’re on the go a lot. Whenever I take my dog for a walk, I always wear my kybun shoes. Nothing else even comes close.

Björn Caviezel, CEO Heidiland Tourismus AG

Christoph Kempter CEO of SOPAC AG in St. Gallen, Switzerland

I realised that if you sit and work at a computer, you automatically adopt the wrong posture. The standing desk and the mat in combination help me to greatly improve my posture. Since buying them, I really feel that I have less back pain. I regularly had it in the past – and now it’s gone. I feel much more agile and comfortable at work.

Christoph Kempter CEO of SOPAC AG in St. Gallen, Switzerland

Michel from Wetzikon, Switzerland

I bought the shoe three weeks ago. At the time I was still walking around the neighbourhood on crutches. Slowly, like an old man. Today I can leave my house, go shopping, and get small jobs done. The freedom you get is like driving a car or riding a motorcycle for the first time. You suddenly have options again.

Alexander Tschäppät (deceased), Swiss National Council

The kybun shoe takes a bit of getting used to at first, but after that it is the ideal shoe for walking on the sunny side of life.

Alexander Tschäppät (deceased), Swiss National Council

Heidi Frei from Switzerland

My mother and my brother, for example, have told me that I have been much more agile when I’m out and about. Maybe I haven’t noticed it myself, but other people have been telling me that I seem a lot more agile when I’m on the go. I’m much fitter throughout the day, because it doesn’t hurt me to wear it and it doesn’t rob me of my energy.

My wife purchased kybun shoe (Bern) a few weeks ago and LOVES them! She was suffering a lot of pain in her feet related to a knee replacement some time ago and says she is enjoying a lot of relief. Now her co-workers want a pair!

Michael Hirte harmonica player, Germany

I used to always have a seat on the stage. At this concert I had one too, because it was a bit longer. Back then, when I played for a half an hour or so, I would have had to get a seat and sit down. I had severe pains when standing. I don’t have that with these shoes. I can stand up there on stage, I can move around, I can play and it doesn’t hurt any more.

Phillip Scheuble, mayor of Rüthi SG

The pain really has gone. When I wear the shoes in the office the whole day, the pain is gone. I was absolutely fascinated, I didn’t expect it. The pain had been constant for a long time. It was particularly noticeable when I went to bed at night. Since I’ve had these shoes, the pain really has gone. And I haven’t made any other changes to my lifestyle. Wearing these shoes really was the only change. Wirklich nur das Tragen dieses Schuhs.

Kathrin Müller-Hänny from Lenzburg, Switzerland

Discovering kybun shoes was life-changing for me. I have had fallen arches, splay foot and flat foot since I was born. Because they couldn’t find any appropriate shoes for me, my parents spent a lot of money on having shoes tailor-made. I don’t have pleasant memories of that. When I was in primary school, I would go twice a year with my mother to a special shop in Zurich. I remember spending tedious hours in that ‘overheated’ shop, watching the eager sales assistant carry over piles of shoes — with limited success. Family hikes, school trips and ski holidays were usually agony. In May 2014 I discovered kybun shoes and it was the highlight of my year! Since then, I have been able to walk for hours without pain. I walk on hard pavements, for instance when I’m shopping in the city. I don’t get tired any more and my feet don’t hurt!  Before, every step felt like a blow to my less-than-healthy hips. Today, my hips and back are in good shape. I’m happy to stand in my kybun sandals on the ceramic tiles at home. I walk with my grandchildren through the Technorama science museum or the zoo, I stand in queues and stand for hours in front of the cooker. I stand more mindfully and am happy to do so! It’s a pleasure to walk more upright and more mindfully. Discovering kybun shoes was life-changing for me. I have had fallen arches, splay foot and flat foot since I was born. The biggest argument in its favour is that it lets you walk in a way that’s easy on the joints. That doesn’t just apply for your knees, but also for your entire gait. It’s comfortable for your body to walk and stand like this. I feel great all around. You feel loose; this is a natural way of walking. You always have good traction, no matter what you’re walking on. You just feel great.

Stefan Burkhalter, Alpine wrestler from Switzerland

I do mostly wear them for walking, for long days at work. I wear them if I have to walk or stand for long periods. I think these are the best shoes and I have no pain in my back or knees. Without fail, I always wear the green and white shoes when I go to a St Gallen football match.

I had trouble walking for almost two years, since I had a herniated disc. Then a friend gave me a pair of these shoes. I wore them regularly when I went out, which helped me walk again. Now everything’s good again. Thanks to the kybun shoe? Yes, thanks to kybun and my prayers.

You experience less fatigue and you don’t feel any pain if you’re of an age where this is likely. My knees have always been a problem. I’ve had keyhole surgery once on my left knee and twice on my right. You just don’t want it to get worse. These shoes allow you to get back on your feet. You can really enjoy your life again. You notice they strengthen your muscles. Your muscles help to hold everything around your knee in place. It’s just fantastic.

There shouldn’t be any complaints about the cost of kybun shoes. Each shoe is produced individually by hand. I’ve seen this myself. The production process is long and intricate. The result is a remarkable shoe. No wonder it’s expensive. But I have to say, it’s really worth every penny.

The Swiss Red Cross, Canton of St. Gallen

Volunteer drivers at the Swiss Red Cross from the region of Rorschach and Rheintal, Canton of St. Gallen, went on a trip to visit the kybun World. They learned how springy and shock-absorbent the shoe is by wearing it, and were deeply impressed. This was topped off by how astonished they were when they changed back into their normal shoes. The experience tour was fascinating, informative and very entertaining. Thank you for offering us such a polished and illuminating tour. It’s a nice excursion for groups to go on, because you can experience the shoe first-hand.

Urs Künzler from Switzerland

I’m convinced that my joints don’t work properly when I’m on a conventional treadmill. It’s both easy on the joints and supports balance. This is because the nerves in the feet are activated more than in a conventional shoe, on a conventional treadmill or on a normal terrain.

Urs Künzler from Switzerland

Fritz Streiff from St. Gallen, Switzerland

How did you find out about the consultation day? We visited the headquarters here in Roggwil. We had a look around for ourselves. We heard about it from lots of different people. We tried on some shoes here. All it took was 10 or 20 minutes. We felt really good in them and decided to buy them. Then we tried them out in day-to-day life. After wearing these shoes for six months, I can now say for sure that it’s much better than it was. How would you describe how it feels to wear kybun shoes? Well, how can I describe it? It feels as though you’re walking on a cloud. The only disadvantage is that you walk a bit unevenly to start with. But you get used to it. Other than that, they are very warm. I was still having problems with my left leg. I used to walk with my foot tilted outwards. That has straightened up since I’ve been wearing these shoes. The pain has also disappeared. I used to have a painful knee, probably for that reason. The doctor said he’d give me an injection for it. Then I enquired about it and he said that one cortisone injection lasts three months. It’s four months with another method, and then you have to get it again. So I decided to leave it for a while. I was exercising anyway and moving my leg about. And now I’ve got these shoes and it’s been fine ever since. Would you recommend kybun shoes to others? Yes, definitely! We just recommended them to someone earlier today. He was staying with us but was heading on to Germany and said he’d look for some in Cologne.

Fritz Streiff from St. Gallen, Switzerland

Ursula Glauser from Switzerland

What was the best thing about the Production Experience tour? I liked everything about it really. Especially the treadmill and this piece of equipment, the SensoPro. It’s amazing. It’s the perfect way to train for skiing. How long have you been wearing kybun shoes? I had two hip operations. That was two or three years ago and I’ve been wearing kybun shoes ever since. I’m absolutely delighted with them. They are fantastic. I have six pairs. Would you recommend the Production Experience tour to others? Definitely! It really is something special. I also learned to be more mindful of how I walk. I had been neglecting it. I do it when I’m out Nordic walking but I hadn’t really thought about it when walking normally. I suppose I just lost the ability to do it. But it’s what I learned here today and it’s something I really value.

Ursula Glauser from Switzerland

Christine Muchenberger from Switzerland

I thought that was a good thing. I can't imagine it won't help. It was pointed out to me that they weren’t hard on the bottom. I suppose it’s just logical that that would make things better. Improvement is practically a given with this padding underneath.

Christine Muchenberger from Switzerland

Romeo Botta, Physiotherapist at CTPLAN

The most astounding thing with my patient was that she was practically pain-free within a week. This is enough to suggest that the success is a result of wearing the kyBoot. She wasn’t in pain anymore, she was able to move more easily and her movements were more symmetrical again. We were able to focus on the actual problem again, which was essentially getting her knee joint to work properly – the reason that she actually came to me in the first place.

Romeo Botta, Physiotherapist at CTPLAN

I am 87 years old. You used to find me on all sorts of mountains. I was even on the Kest. I used to strain my legs too much. In those days, there were no walking sticks. At my age, I notice it in my legs now. That’s why I’m happy that I’ve got these shoes.

Marion Weibel, apple queen of thurgau 2017/2018

They are perfect! I had the chance to put them on yesterday after the election evening and it was great to be able to wear comfortable shoes at last. I’m also wearing them at the moment and they fit just perfectly.

Reto Scherrer, Radio and TV presenter, Weinfelden, Switzerland

I’m not the type of person who would just advertise or promote a product. I’ll use a product when I’m really convinced by it. At the moment, it’s these shoes but I’m satisfied with other products, too. The benefit of these shoes is really that I feel better when I’m out and about for a long time. I have fewer problems with my legs and feet when I have to stand for long periods. That impressed me a few years ago and made  me choose these shoes.

Reto Scherrer, Radio and TV presenter, Weinfelden, Switzerland

I used to play very intensive football but had to stop when I was 20 as I started having knee problems, and from then on I’ve been very restricted in the amount of sport I do or have to play less vigorous sports. I’ve always been aware of the fact that I have to be careful of my knee. So when I came across the kybun shoes, it was a solution that allowed me to walk more and do sport for longer periods without getting knee trouble. Obviously I really appreciated that.

Stephanie Bruhin, manager of a shop Winterthur, Switzerland

At the beginning, it was hard to get used to the shoes. It also felt like I had sore muscles in my shin; I don’t even know if that’s possible. Sometimes I had to change back into normal shoes, but now it’s OK. I would never give them away.

Margrith Mathis, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

It’s a much gentler motion; it’s more like rolling than walking. You roll your feet a lot more. You can feel it from your toes to your heel when you walk.

Margrith Mathis, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Barbara Boh, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

It feels like flying. Your roll your feet and it makes you stand up straighter than a regular shoe would. When you wear regular shoes, you feel like you’re rolling your feet roughly – or if not rolling, then standing too firmly. When you wear these shoes, you roll your feet and walk gently.

Barbara Boh, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Ruth Bachmann, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

I’m beyond satisfied with them. You walk so easily in them, and your legs never get tired.

Ruth Bachmann, client Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Ursula Altdorfer, Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Moving around a lot very quickly is a big part of our job. Sometimes you turn a corner, go into the kitchen, and see that the floor in there’s wet because something’s dripping. But these shoes have firm traction no matter what. In the past, when I wore regular shoes, I would slip. I would wear other shoes sometimes, and I slipped and fell in the kitchen. That never happens with this shoe. It has a really firm grip; you can walk on wet surfaces and rely on the traction.

Ursula Altdorfer, Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Doris Aebli, Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Each day, we spend 14 to 15 hours on our feet, and these shoes keep us from developing back and foot pain. It’s a great feeling.

Doris Aebli, Hotel Scesaplana in Seewis, Switzerland

Sigrid Eibensteiner from Switzerland

I’ve been wearing kybun shoes for a very long time, seven or eight years at the very least. I have arthritis in my knees and always had problems with walking and standing. That meant that I was looking for something to relieve my feet. I started off using the kybun mat. I used it for a variety of tasks that involved standing for a long time, such as working in the kitchen. It was very good for my knees. Not long after that, I bought my first pair of kybun shoes. I now have a few different designs. There simply isn’t a better pair of shoes for my sore knees.

Sigrid Eibensteiner from Switzerland

Nicole Mutzner from Switzerland

How did you find out about the World of walk-on-air? I already had a pair of kybun shoes and they were great. I liked them a lot. But then they broke. I didn’t get any more after that. I was recently at the OLMA trade fair and then I got tickets. Was the tour as you had imagined it and would you recommend it to someone else? I couldn’t imagine it because I didn’t know what to expect. I think the exercises are great and I would definitely recommend it. What did you like the most? The exercises – the exercises are great! They get you moving. And you got to wear the shoes the whole time, that was excellent.

Nicole Mutzner from Switzerland

Thomas Schmid client consultation day Roggwil, Switzerland

Would you recommend kyBoot shoes to others? Absolutely! I would even recommend them as an excellent product. In my case, I had actually just injured my knee in an accident. They helped me a lot at this time. How did you find out about the consultation day? I’m on the mailing list for the kybun newsletter, which is how I found out that this day was taking place here. Have you had any experience with the soft, springy kybun products? I had already worn MBT shoes before and was quite satisfied. I wore them a lot. I needed new ones so I started looking for a replacement and came across kyBoot. I’m very satisfied with them.

Hans Schneider client consultation day Roggwil, Switzerland

How did you find out about the consultation day? From the manager of this shop. How does it feel to wear kybun shoes? Very pleasant, easy on the joints. I can’t say for sure but I think so. Could you imagine wearing kybun shoes every day? Yes, because they feel comfortable and I want to do something good for myself.

Hans Schneider client consultation day Roggwil, Switzerland

Rosmarie Muther client consultation day Roggwil, Switzerland

How did you find out about the consultation day? I received an e-mail and then I thought it might be worth considering as I have problems with my knee and leg all the time. But I forgot about it and thought what good would it do. I had a lot going on at the time and I also went on holiday. I came here to the shop yesterday and just wanted to buy a pair of socks. But then I also bought this trampoline. Then the shop assistant asked me whether I wouldn’t like to take part in the consultation day after all. Then I thought yes, if there are appointments left, why not? So I came. How did your appointment go on the consultation day? I enjoyed the consultation very much. It was nice to have someone really look into my problem. So far I’ve been to see a doctor and a physiotherapist. But nobody knew what was wrong and whether I was faking it. Whenever I stand for a long time, it really starts to bother me. It’s hard for me to walk downhill or climb stairs. I was taken seriously during the consultation and given very good advice. Why would you recommend the consultation day to others? As I already said, I felt as if I was taken very seriously and they treat you as a whole person. They don’t try to talk you into anything and you don’t feel pressured into buying shoes. Of course I did, but I will be needing new shoes again soon. My old shoes are really old. The overall service is really good, in my opinion.

What are your symptoms and how can kyBoot help you? My Achilles tendons have been inflamed for six to seven months. I was in physiotherapy and tried a number of things. Nothing worked. I have been wearing kyBoot shoes for one month and I have the feeling that things have improved. The pain is less severe and the swelling has gone down. It’s better now. How did you find out about the consultation day? I came to the shop around four weeks ago because of my Achilles tendinitis. I had already heard about it and it had been recommended to me. Then someone spoke to me about it in the shop and I thought it was a good idea. How does it feel to wear kyBoot shoes? They feel soft, like walking on air. They automatically stretch the tendons. If you walk over rocks in the forest, they cushion your steps. They are very comfortable.

So, right now I’m actually alone at this BEA. For this event, I have to spend ten days in a row on my feet nearly all day. I don’t spend that much time standing at work, so I’m not used to it at all. That’s why, in the past, I always experienced leg pain at trade fairs like this. I don’t anymore, though.

I was employed at the post office. I spent almost 50 years working for the post office. I was on the go all the time, and my feet suffered from it. I had to have a foot operation, and from there on out it got worse and worse. Thanks to the kybun shoe, I can now walk again without pain.

You simply have to try these shoes on and you’ll understand why. The shoes are so soft and don’t cause any foot, knee or back pain. They are simply the best I’ve ever had and it’s been an incredible discovery.

The best way to describe them is to imagine what it is like to walk on moss. There is a nice rolling motion, even when playing fast sport, which is very pleasant. At first I wondered if the soft effect would make it difficult to play a fast sport, but that wasn't the case at all.

I feel it throughout my entire body. I have been able to significantly reduce the spasticity in my shoulder and in my arm. It’s still a little bit stiff, of course. The spasticity caused my arm to be stuck in a rigid position on my chest. That caused a lot of pain and tension in my body, but I don’t have that anymore. I no longer have to put up with it. I feel a lot more relaxed now; my back doesn’t tense up, and I can even raise my arm. The reason all this has happened is because my muscles are relaxed, and I believe that this is down to wearing the kybun shoe. This shoe has made all this possible.

We’re at the kybun booth, and you’ve had a kyBoot for some time now. That’s right, and I’m really very pleased with the shoes. I needed them as orthopaedic shoes. They were very good for rehabilitation training, as I have a foot injury. And you feel better now? I can actually walk a lot better now. Though I occasionally change back into conventional shoes. It simply feels very pleasant to walk in the kyBoot. Thank you!

Whether I’m at work or at home, the kybun shoe is the perfect shoe for long walks or long periods of time standing on hard surfaces, thanks to its springy, elastic sole. Thanks to this shoe, my legs don’t feel heavy, and my posture has improved. I had pain in my hips and kidneys. So I considered what I could do about it. I won’t go to the doctor, as he only prescribes me drugs. Then, it occurred to me that I already have shoes like these. I tried them out and within three days, the pain was gone. It really is true.

Why do you wear shoes like that? They’re special shoes. Yes, they’re called kyBoot. They’re air-cushioned and wonderful. After walking a long distance barefoot on the beach, I ended up with a heel spur. That means a tear in the heel bone. I could no longer walk properly for months. Then I discovered the kyBoot and was able to try the shoes out. Lo and behold, all is well again. Since then, I always wear the kyBoot – in the mountains and elsewhere.

I used to be a seasonal worker and I regularly had to change my shoes once the season was over because the chemicals used in the water, the cleaning water I mean, totally ruined my shoes. I don’t have to do that anymore. I’ve actually had the shoes I’m wearing right now for a year and they still look brand new. That was very impressive.

The kybun shoe is still important to my life as a professional athlete. I mainly wear it day-to-day, that is, between my training sessions when I am walking around my flat or if I know that I will have to stand somewhere for a long time. I have definitely noticed than my foot muscles have become a lot stronger on both sides. The shoe is just so comfy to wear; it is almost like walking around on cloud when I wear my kybun shoes. I would like to say a huge thank you to kybun for the amazing support and for all their help! I can wholeheartedly recommend the kybun shoe to anyone, no matter whether you are an athlete or just want an everyday shoe. You will definitely notice the difference!

I can still walk upright with support from the kybun shoe. Yesterday, I was walking with my brother-in-law around the Lenzerheide mountain resort in Switzerland. We went from the Rothorn middle station to the waterfall and from there back down to Lenzerheide over many different terrains. It was an exhausting hike. I was perfectly equipped with my kybun hiking boot in orange. It really cushions every step. I am 72 years old, and I have had several serious accidents since 2011. That is why I am doubly grateful that you have produced such fantastic Swiss-made shoes! This is also important for me! Stay true to your culture. I will recommend your products to everyone.

The advantage is that I experience far less pain. In normal hiking shoes, which don’t cushion your feet, my right knee always hurt. That stopped with the kybun shoes. While wearing it, I only experienced a very small amount of pain after I had been walking for a very long distance. With normal shoes, I would never have been able to do that. That’s really the advantage of wearing the kybun shoes.

For 20 years, all my shoes have had to be two centimetres higher. Then I was straight again and walking was so much easier because it was soft now instead of hard. I then had to find out whether this would even be possible with these shoes. Whether this elevation could actually be done with the material. I got my answer and they made it in the factory with the two centimetre height increase – and it’s great.

The benefits, if these shoes suit you, are worth every cent. Everything we do – controlling our weight, increasing our movement & exercise (re-conditioning our bodies), reducing stress in our lives – all contribute to us managing our conditions and improving our quality of life. If a shoe helps us experience less pain or be able to move for longer before we experience the change (onset of pain), then we are going to be better off. Not only will we experience less pain, but we will re-condition faster than we might otherwise have done which in turn will help us manage our pain. Original blogpost: limberation.com

You always think that you have to train your legs but for me, that’s less important. I train my legs anyway as I move around a lot. Here, I train my core and focus more on my upper arms and hands. Swinging your arms is at least just as important as the correct leg rhythm. Swinging your arms essentially ensures balance and stimulates your core. If you don’t get this right, then you aren’t training correctly.

Hello Jürgen! As promised, tomorrow I will reluctantly send the test shoes back to you. Although I am still not an active walker, even on my short walks I noticed a huge difference between my shoes and the kybun shoes. The way I stand is very different and the shoes even make it easier to stand up. I’m impressed! Honestly, I swear on kybun shoe. I would never have believed the shoes could make walking feel so secure and comfortable. Recently, my kybun shoes got wet and I had to switch to normal shoes. Nothing seemed to work anymore and I was walking like a stiff puppet. I never want that to happen again!

My experiences with kybun shoes have been overwhelmingly positive. Shortly after my amputation, I met Jürgen Zeller at an appointment with my orthopaedic technician. It was through Jürgen that I received my first pair of kybun shoes. My right leg was also experiencing adverse effects from the accident, so I was thrilled with the kybun shoes from the very beginning. I have tried all sorts of expensive sports shoes, but none of them have come anywhere close to equalling the kybun shoes! kybun shoes soften the heel impact and make me feel secure. I can walk for a long time without my leg hurting and without the sole of my remaining foot getting sore. And with kybun shoe, I don’t need to worry about slipping when it’s damp or wet underfoot. With all other types of shoe, after a very short time my remaining foot starts hurting and the sole of my foot gets sore. With other shoes, I also feel much less secure when walking. I don’t find the kybun shoes to be unstable at all. These shoes help me in all kinds of situations and make me feel secure. Perhaps to begin with, it might feel slightly strange because you have to compensate a little. But I quickly noticed that these shoes help me to walk. I think that kybun shoes are the perfect footwear, especially for people who are starting to learn to walk with a prosthesis, because they help so much with walking.

I had the opportunity to test the kybun shoe for a couple of days, and when I was walking in it, I felt like I was floating on clouds. It was easy to walk in it, and I was able to move about quickly, even though I’m fairly short! Once I have moved house, I will be ordering a pair of kybun shoes. To wear the kybun shoe is to have a footwear experience!

I am 71 and my left leg was recently amputated above the knee. I stumbled upon kybun shoe online and I learned all about it from Mr Zeller over the phone. Two days later, a pair of kybun test shoes was delivered to my house. I was allowed to try them at home for two days and then keep them or send them back. After wearing and walking in the kybun shoes for three minutes, I picked up the phone and bought the shoes! I have never had shoes that are so soft, fit so well and look so fashionable! I have now been wearing them all day every day for 14 days and they are great. I now walk a lot more than I did in my old shoes! Five days ago, my wife ordered some kybun sandals from Mr Zeller and she only takes them off when she gets into bed! She is absolutely thrilled with the sandals. I would readily recommend kybun shoes! Thank you so much, Mr Zeller!

Fantastic stuff! How did I find out about the kybun shoe? Jürgen posted a link to his page in our Facebook group. It made me curious. Why? My left leg is amputated above the knee and my right ankle is damaged, so I am regularly in pain. I wondered whether these shoes could mitigate the problem. We started an e-mail conversation and Jürgen immediately offered to provide me with a pair of test shoes. After 14 days, I was won over and I ordered a pair. What was it that convinced me? It’s like walking on a cloud. In my Salo shoes, every stride feels stiff like a goose step. By contrast, the kybun shoes soften my steps and the foot rollover is very comfortable. They also make it easier to climb stairs step-over-step. My footsteps are quieter – now I can sneak up on people! Walking on pavements also feels much better. So those are my first impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing the shoes. Sure, they aren’t exactly cheap. But the shoes are making a positive difference. Which is why I am convinced that buying them was a good decision. I would recommend these kybun shoes wholeheartedly. Thank you so much, Jürgen! Your tremendous commitment will ensure that lots more people will find out about the kybun shoe and will hopefully be inspired to try wearing these shoes.

kybun shoes are the best shoes in the world, and they give me a new quality of life. I am not an amputee, but I had extreme difficulties moving around because I suffer with extremely severe nerve pain. What’s more, the unbalanced strain led to my left foot developing flatfoot and pes valgus deformity. As a result, the inside of my ankle protrudes significantly. It was no longer possible to walk normally. I also had numb toes and paraesthesia in both feet. HAD...
I have been wearing kybun shoes for two months and there have been some changes. I am experiencing significantly less pain and I can generally walk swiftly and without limping. There have been substantial improvements to the paraesthesia and the numbness in my toes. I can now feel what is beneath my feet again – stones, the floor, the folds in my socks. Most nights, I am not in any pain.
If I take the shoes off, however, things become somewhat more problematic.
But I am hopeful that there will be improvements here, too. Thank you so much, Jürgen! Your tremendous
commitment will ensure that lots more people will find out

I’ve been wearing kybun shoes for a couple of weeks now and I am so impressed by these shoes! I wear them both indoors and outdoors. Seven years after my amputation, I have finally found a shoe that comes close to restoring the quality of life I had before. They are lightweight shoes and you don’t feel them on your feet, so it’s like walking barefoot. My back is more relaxed and is no longer painful. The anti-slip sole also makes them really secure. Sure, the price isn’t exactly enticing. But what’s important is that the shoe makes a positive difference, so it’s worth spending a bit more.

I too discovered the awesome kybun shoes – after years of searching for good shoes. I found them through Mr Jürgen Zeller. In 2009 I underwent a knee disarticulation on my right leg. I have bunions on both feet that cause me a great deal of pain, and because of which I’ve had to wear insoles in my shoes for years. The pain came back, though, so I thought I’d try out this air-cushion shoe that I saw ads for. And look: Ever since I started wearing the kybun shoe, I can once again enjoy painless short hikes, and nearly painless longer ones. I also wear the shoe as often as possible during the day, since it tires out my feet less. Because of that, I can still wear ‘normal’ shoes every now and then if I’m going out – and that’s important for me as a woman. I’ve been wearing the kybun shoe for a number of years now.

Quite the opposite, in fact: I feel like I’m walking on clouds.  Mr Zeller provided excellent advice and support, and showed himself to be a true expert. I had a serious Achilles tendon operation more than a year and a half ago, and they also had to operate on the muscle. Afterwards I didn’t have any feeling in the ankle joint and I was unable to roll the foot over properly. So I needed a shoe that handles the rollover function. The MBT does that, which is why I had the MBT in the first place. The advantage of the kybun shoe is that it not only helps me with the rollover function, but it’s very soft as well. This helped me tremendously in dealing with everyday life.

One benefit that I’ve come across is that when I step awkwardly on uneven ground the kybun sole absorbs the impact. You don’t go over on your ankle like you definitely would with a conventional, hard sole. Instead, unevenness under foot such as a stone or tree root is simply absorbed or taken in by the sole and I can walk over it as if there were nothing on the ground.

For me, the main difference lies in how I feel when I’ve been standing for a long time. I spend a lot of time at markets and trade fairs, which means long days on my feet. I rely on the fact that I have a shoe that helps me keep from tiring out too quickly. Here in the shop, we’ve also set up a lot of our workstations with standing desks. I would like to thank you, on behalf of the visitors at kybun yesterday, for organising such an excellent event and for the extremely interesting and competent tour. I have only received high praise for the event from everyone who participated. You showed us how such unusual, modern products can bring success only with special effort. The walking course is among the very best sales aids that I have ever seen. I am very pleased that you are able to showcase your product with such a great sales aid. Congratulations!

Ursula Buehrer from Switzerland

It was an eventful, educational and exciting afternoon with you at the World of walk-on-air. It was incredibly interesting to learn so many new things, and your support was helpful and wonderful through and through. You were so patient, and we were able to try out our shoes in such a relaxed manner. The afternoon was particularly valuable for my neighbour, because she didn’t yet know much about the shoes and had previously only tried on my slippers for a few days. I was also able to learn a lot of new things that I didn’t know before. Please keep up the good work! The combination of excellent offers and friendly, competent advice is just excellent. I will excitedly recommend the World of walk-on-air to others, and who knows, I may come back for another visit with other friends who are interested!

I can use the kybun mat in my everyday life. For example, when I am ironing, like I am now. This is something I need to do anyway and cannot avoid. I just lay down the kybun mat and kill two birds with one stone, as the saying goes. I can iron and exercise at the same time.

Haeme Ulrich, speaker and trainer from Switzerland

There are two reasons for this. First, they are very comfortable. And second, they involve a lot of movement. These factors are important for me, since, as an office person, I don’t have many opportunities to be active.

Katharina Mayer-Steinhäusl from Vienna, Austria

I’ve spent 30 years working in retail while wearing shoes that were stylish but far too uncomfortable. This has unfortunately taken its toll on my legs. I was suffering from Morton’s neuroma, a bunion, pain in my knees and lumbar spine, and on top of that, I fractured my femoral neck last summer after having an accident. It was virtually impossible for me to walk or stand without feeling pain, even when wearing flat shoes with insoles. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended the kybun shoes to me. She had been wearing a pair for a while herself, and was familiar with how the shoe’s enormous benefits. Purchasing a pair was definitely worth it for me as well. The comfortable air-cushioned insole makes walking a genuine pleasure – like you are walking on cotton. I also find the shoe very stylish, and people often come up to me to give their compliments. It was quite hard for me to choose just one pair from the large selection of models available – I’m sure this won’t be the last pair that I will buy.

Katharina Mayer-Steinhäusl from Vienna, Austria

Roland Diewald from Germany

I actually discovered the kybun shoe completely by chance. I tried on a pair and found that I could actually walk very well in them. Now it is simply my shoe. I can really step on each heel and roll over my foot to the toes. The shoe helps me get a firmer footing and compensates for the movements within my stump. It simply feels great to walk and the main advantage by far is that I don’t stumble anymore. This was always a problem I experienced when I was wearing other shoes.  I would often trip over my toes and stumble when walking on uneven streets.

I have been a huge fan of the kybun shoe for six years! As a pharmacist, I need to spend the majority of my time at work standing on my feet. Fortunately, the kybun shoe allows me to do this without feeling any pain in my feet and keeps me from having tired legs even after a challenging day!

Dominik Engeli, druggist from Weinfelden, Switzerland

Kurt Inderbitzin from Switzerland

While watching an ice hockey game from the standing terraces in December 2013 (not wearing kybun shoes!), I injured myself and ended up with a slipped disc. By consistently wearing kybun shoes, doing exercises on the kybun mat and so on, the effects of the slipped disc diminished progressively. As a result, most of my day-to-day life is now pain free.

What I found so good about the kybun shoe over longer distances, is that you forget them. I’m comfortable walking in them and I don’t think about the fact that I’ve got them on. I think that’s the best type of shoe – when you don’t even notice you’re wearing them.

When I go shopping, for example the floors are hard and my feet get tired quickly. That makes my foot hard to control. Wearing these shoes, I can walk without the constant impact on my foot.

Susanne Bogedaly from Germany

Hello, my name is Susanne Bogedaly. I have been suffering from chronic plantar fasciitis in both of my feet as well as a heel spur in my left foot for about a year and a half. I tried just about everything I could, including all conventional therapy methods. The doctors said there was virtually nothing left for them to try. I tried using insoles and sensorimotor insoles, took pain medication and underwent shockwave therapy. In the end, I was under so much psychological strain, and nothing had helped. In my desperation, I decided to try one last thing. I came across the kybun shoe on the Internet and tried on a pair. I did some research and opted for this model. I am very impressed. It was my last hope, and it has enabled me to walk comfortably, like I’m walking on air, just the way it was described in the advertisement. It is perfect for me, because I’m a nursery teacher and need to be on my feet every day. I am standing for many hours every day, so I wear the shoes at work and also wear them as slippers at home. I have already place an order for the next model, which is the Arosa model. This is a black lace-up boot that comes up to here. It looks very elegant. I want to encourage everyone who is suffering a similar fate as I was and is in despair to simply try it out! It really is worth it. I am very impressed. I can walk again comfortably and almost without any pain. I will stick with the kybun shoe. I am very happy with it. I wish everyone the best and urge them not to give up!

Susanne Bogedaly from Germany

Margrith Sibold from Switzerland

I had an operation on my inner knee joint in January 2014. I realised afterwards that walking in this shoe is extremely good for me. I no longer felt the impact of the ground. I felt like walking in the kybun shoe was very beneficial for my health after the operation.

Margrith Sibold from Switzerland

Roger Christen from Switzerland

I could walk normally again from the first day onwards. It feels completely normal to walk again, and that’s what’s most important to me. I need to be able to move around freely, and I’ve been able to do so since the very first day. I was so excited to get started, and I’m still absolutely delighted. You can do it all from the very first day.

Roger Christen from Switzerland

Liz Tödtli from Switzerland

I definitely have a sense of cushioning. When you’re pregnant, you really do have the feeling that everything is becoming soft and expanding and the kybun shoe really does offer cushioning for when you’re walking and standing. I never have swollen legs or feet. I feel fit. Now, I feel secure when I know that I’ll be walking a long distance by foot. I know that I’ll be able to do it.

Liz Tödtli from Switzerland

Remo Pedron from Switzerland

Ever since I started wearing kyBoot shoes, I can stand and walk again. I particularly appreciate the fact that I no longer feel pain when I’m in bed.

Caroline Winter from Switzerland

I always make sure to stand on the kybun mat while I iron and consciously shift my weight to my right side, where I experience issues. That’s made things a lot better.

Caroline Winter from Switzerland

Urs Künzler from Switzerland

A special feature of the kybun treadmill is that it simulates an uneven, soft, sand-like terrain. This is one element which I just can’t reproduce in training.

Urs Künzler from Switzerland

Lussia Zäch from Switzerland

I would never ever give the shoes away. Even if you fought me for them you still wouldn’t get them.

Lussia Zäch from Switzerland

Nicola Phillip from Switzerland

I felt quite free as a result of this movement. I often find myself shifting the weight of my body from one leg to the other. So today I tried to make sure that I was distributing my weight evenly onto both legs and feet at the same time. This was very comfortable.

Nicola Phillip from Switzerland

Nathalie Signer from Switzerland

It feels very comfortable right away. The mat makes it far easier to stay standing. At some point, I found myself feeling tired and needed to move my legs to make it easier to stay standing and not need to sit down again. Soon afterwards, I felt comfortable again.

Nathalie Signer from Switzerland

Leandra Kissling from Switzerland

It was great to try something new, since I often have back pain when I sit for a long time, and my eyes begin to close when I am particularly tired. You are constantly in motion when you are standing on the mat, which makes you feel active and keeps you more awake. It leaves a tingling sensation afterwards – I feel like I’ve just received a foot massage. I think it’s great.

Leandra Kissling from Switzerland

Priscilla Werner from Switzerland

It is exciting. The mat makes you feel like you are standing in a forest. You need to keep moving, because you are constantly compensating for the variations within the surface.

Priscilla Werner from Switzerland

Ursi Rieder from Switzerland

It’s a very comfortable feeling, since I am used to standing a lot anyway. I have a standing desk at the office where I work so I find it very important to be able to move. It simply makes me feel good to be moving not only when I’m at work but also in my daily life in general.

Ursi Rieder from Switzerland

Wilfried Franz from Berlin, Germany

I’ve been wearing the kybun Schuh for over two years now, for two reasons. Firstly, it got rid of my knee problems, and secondly, because this air-cushion shoe has given me a whole new lease on life. It lets me walk without pain.

Wilfried Franz from Berlin, Germany

Nina Zimmermann from Germany

I would absolutely love to have a pair of shoes like these, since as a physiotherapist, I am always moving about. I am often on my feet, so the shoes would be even more helpful than if I had an office job, where I would be sitting most of the time. I would really like to have these kinds of shoes.

Nina Zimmermann from Germany

Matthias Schmid, Entrepreneur from Goldach, Switzerland

That being said, back pain relief is not the only reason I love the kybun shoe. I also find walking in the kybun shoe to be more refreshing. It just makes me feel good – plain and simple.

Matthias Schmid, Entrepreneur from Goldach, Switzerland

Josef Lingenhöle, gynaecologist from Switzerland

My own background is in research so I am always willing to try out new things. I have seen how helpful the shoes can be. I was particularly impressed when my wife told me that she couldn’t imagine going without these shoes. She says she now needs to go and change all of her other shoes. She is absolutely delighted. The shoes will particularly help pregnant women who were already suffering from pain. But they can also help people who have pain in the musculoskeletal system or neurological problems and I think pregnant women can definitely benefit from wearing them. Women can benefit from wearing kyBoot shoes, whether it is during the pregnancy itself or afterwards in the nursing period where joints are still more elastic and need more care.

Josef Lingenhöle, gynaecologist from Switzerland

Liz Tödtli from Switzerland

They’re really comfortable. You hardly notice the hard ground. It’s like floating. I feel like I’m walking on clouds.

I would never have thought that a pair of shoes could have this effect. But they really do, and I would recommend them to anybody, especially older people who have difficulty walking. Buy yourself a pair.

Louis Engler from Switzerland

Jürgen Zeller from Germany

My strides are longer by six to eight per cent when I’m wearing the kybun shoe. According to my calculations, this means that for every 100 kilometres, I need to walk six to seven kilometres less when I’m wearing the kybun shoe. This is incredible.

Jürgen Zeller from Germany

Johann Brülisauer from Switzerland

I feel it does my body good to be constantly moving. There’s no more stiffness, and I’ve the feeling that it is gradually going. I think it’s great that I can stand during the day with these shoes.

Johann Brülisauer from Switzerland

René Meier from Switzerland

I felt very safe wearing these shoes. They had a very steady grip on the rocks, even when I was going downhill, allowing me to descend without slipping at all.

René Meier from Switzerland

Duc Huynh from Thun, Switzerland

That is an indescribable experience. It feels as though you are weightless. So fine and soft. It really feels as if you’re not wearing anything on your feet, the way a shoe should be.

Duc Huynh from Thun, Switzerland

Hansruedi Poschung from Thun, Switzerland

I’m almost completely pain-free now. I have better circulation, particularly in my legs. I no longer get cramps in my calves and leg muscles. Like I said earlier, I can walk without any problems.

Hansruedi Poschung from Thun, Switzerland

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

I’ve noticed that I am steadier on my feet. I can walk better on different surfaces and above all else, my back is much better. I can stand up straight again and move more steadily. The shoes have improved my entire back and obviously my back muscles as well. I would say now that it’s OK again.

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

Tobias Sturzenegger, Switzerland

I got a heel spur about six months ago. At first, my mum gave me some soothing creams after the matches, but none of it helped. I put on my mum’s kybun shoes just for fun. Then I wore the shoes at a match and it became a lot better.

Tobias Sturzenegger, Switzerland

Samuel Gerber from Switzerland

I would recommend it to virtually anybody who has the same complaints that we had. A lot of people suffer from them, and they really wouldn’t have to if they just opted for a shoe that naturally fitted their body, and only wore that. You can prevent a lot of pain and other ailments that you wouldn’t be able to do anything about otherwise. You don’t always have to wear the shoe, but make sure that the entire foot mechanism is really put to good use, because wearing the standard shoes on the market nowadays makes it almost impossible for the foot to move naturally. That will only happen if you wear these shoes, and that’s when you’ll find out what you’ve been missing out on.

Samuel Gerber from Switzerland

Samuel Schilt, technical building manager at the Centre for Medical Training in Bern, Switzerland

It’s like walking on air-filled balls. One teeters from one side to the other. But it’s really comfortable from the moment you put it on. When I used to go up or down the stairs, I felt every step and every time my foot hit the ground. Now, I don’t feel a thing. The cushioning is simply fantastic.

Samuel Schilt, technical building manager at the Centre for Medical Training in Bern, Switzerland

Paul Hoffmann from Switzerland

The benefit of the shoe is that it absorbs the impact incurred when walking around, which, in turn, relieves the hip and knee joints as well as the heels.

I bought these a while ago because I was told they are good for your muscles. I didn’t know that they are also good for the joints.

When I’m working on my feet, I can automatically keep my balance. It is comfortable, soft, elastic – and good, simply very good.

Lydia Zurfluh from Uetendorf, Switzerland

Christine Weisskirchen from Thun, Switzerland

The staff in Thun provided excellent advice and made me aware that I could experience dizziness and other symptoms. It wasn’t so bad though and I’m really delighted with these shoes.

Christine Weisskirchen from Thun, Switzerland

Duc Huynh from Interlaken, Switzerland

At first I mainly wore the kyBoot at work because I am on my feet a lot. By now I wear the kyBoot any chance I get. I even use them as slippers at home, in my spare time, I even have the new trainers that have come out. So it really goes far beyond just work.

Duc Huynh from Interlaken, Switzerland

Heidi Sommer from Bern, Switzerland

My daughter was aware of the shoes and said I should go to the Zurich Oberland region and try on a pair. I wasn’t that keen because I didn’t think they would work. When I had to go to hospital because of my foot problem, she told me about  the shoes there, too. Then she said she’d have a look and see if they had kybun shoes in Bern, too. She said the shop was really close by and we should drop in. We asked if I could try on a pair and  I was given a lovely pair of red shoes. I slipped them on and my knee pain completely disappeared.

Heidi Sommer from Bern, Switzerland

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

The benefit of not having to go to therapy, but having the therapeutic shoes on my feet every day is obviously the time factor. It means I don’t have to get the car out and drive into town for the therapy session or have to walk to the bus stop, as the case may be. It saves me an unbelievable amount of time.

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

Oliver Künzle from St. Gallen, Switzerland

I feel like my posture is more upright when I wear these shoes. I can feel the small, delicate muscles becoming stronger. Compared to before, my muscles now react much quicker when I move. They’re must stronger thanks to the shoes.

Oliver Künzle from St. Gallen, Switzerland

Giovanni De Vito from Biel, Switzerland

I never would have thought this much was possible from a shoe alone. Who would have thought that you could improve your entire quality of life thanks to a shoe alone and not have to do anything other than just put on your shoes like everyone else and start walking. As I said, it comes close to a miracle for me.

Giovanni De Vito from Biel, Switzerland

Sandra Haffa employee Martin Confiserie, Switzerland

I was wearing the hiking shoe while cleaning. I had the shoe on the whole time standing in water. It still hasn’t dried up out there. Before I knew about kybun, I wore regular shoes to clean. I had to switch them out each season. The sole would always detach from the shoe. The kybun shoe is waterproof, so, of course, I treated it like you’d treat any shoe. It kept my feet warm and dry, even far into autumn and winter. It’s still all in one piece, three years down the line.

Sandra Haffa employee Martin Confiserie, Switzerland

Margrit Keller from Bassersdorf, Switzerland

After taking just a few steps in the kybun shoe, my initial scepticism completely vanished. Walking in this shoe feels like striding across a mossy forest floor. I knew right away that I had to have it! It was love at first sight – or rather, love at first step!

Margrit Keller from Bassersdorf, Switzerland

Andy Martin, construction supervisor from Sennhof, Switzerland

I would never have imagined that there was a product better than the MBT, so discovering kybun shoes was a pleasant surprise. Since I work as a road construction supervisor, I need shoes that have a dynamic appearance while being appropriate for meetings. I have found the perfect model that meets these requirements, and I am extremely pleased. I couldn’t be happier with my kybun shoes.

Andy Martin, construction supervisor from Sennhof, Switzerland

Hansruedi Widmer from Switzerland

Hans-Peter Schmid from Zurich, Switzerland

Last autumn after a half-marathon I developed severe muscle stiffness and also tendonitis. I was in quite a lot of pain when I walked. The amount of pain was significantly reduced and that’s largely down to the kybun shoe. If I ever had to wear normal shoes it was very uncomfortable. I was desperate for my kybun shoes. You really have to try them out and feel it for yourself to know what I’m talking about. It never ceases to amaze me how you can offset and reduce pain in the musculoskeletal system.

Hans-Peter Schmid from Zurich, Switzerland

It works well in the snow, too, and I never slipped. Apparently the profile holds up pretty well.

Rosalba Jäggi from Switzerland

I sense that my foot, even when it doesn’t work so well anymore, wants to sense what’s on the ground. A stiff sole doesn’t convey that information. Because this information was lacking, I would sometimes fall. With these shoes, I have a good sense of the ground. My foot is always trying to do exactly that, even if it no longer can. It wants to achieve balance, and now it can with the support of this sole, and that’s amazing. For me, it’s a different quality of life. It gives me hope for myself again and the confidence to move around.

Rosalba Jäggi from Switzerland

I notice that I am very light on my feet and never get tired. I can work the entire day and have no pain when I wake up the next morning. That’s why it’s a real plus to feel good and always have the sensation of floating ever so slightly.

Michael Eugster owner of Albert Suhner AG, Switzerland

I was having recurring problems with the soles of my feet; I would start to feel pain in them after standing for some time. I also often had tired feet. It felt like I was standing on a pillow. I thought to myself, this is definitely good for me. Since then, I have had no more pain in the soles of my feet and my legs don’t get tired. I used to also feel pain in my sciatic nerve, but this pain is now also gone.

Haeme Ulrich, speaker and trainer from Switzerland

I felt a bit of muscle pain when I first started wearing the shoe. There were certain muscles that I never even knew I had, which were causing some pain. But now I wear this shoe every day. I have several pairs of shoes in my cupboard to choose from, but I always reach for the kyBoot.

Haeme Ulrich, speaker and trainer from Switzerland

Peter Zwahlen from Switzerland

As you can imagine, I am very happy with these shoes. They have alleviated this very problematic complaint of mine. And when I am getting around by foot I walk on uneven surfaces like this meadow and other ones. So it is very bumpy underfoot. I always wear these shoes. I even wear them when I go out. And out on the meadow, or for doing gardening. I always wear these shoes. What used to be a very big problem has been eliminated.

Some people might say that the shoes are too expensive. But that really isn’t true. Considering how long they last, I must say I think they are extremely good value and the benefits they bring are priceless.

Margrith Sibold from Switzerland

When I think about it the shoe is definitely worth the price. Other, less expensive shoes wear out after a year and, anyways, are not as comfortable to walk in. I believe that this shoe is worth the price ecause you can wear it for such a long time.

Margrith Sibold from Switzerland

Hans-Peter Schmid from Zurich, Switzerland

At that point, I had my doubts. I wondered whether I could even walk in these shoes. The information that I take in from the ground through my feet is really important for me. Because I can’t see the floor or any uneven ground I have to be able to feel what’s under foot through my feet so that I can hold the rest of my body correctly. I was worried that the sole would be too effective and suppress this sensation, preventing me from getting my information from the ground.

Hans-Peter Schmid from Zurich, Switzerland

I’m out and about on foot a lot and I love being active. When I was wearing the kyBoot shoes I thought wow, it also eases the arthritis in my big toe joint. The pain was hugely reduced, almost to the point that it disappeared. That’s when I knew it would be a good idea to have these shoes.

I’ve already noticed an improvement when I’m out jogging after wearing kyBoot shoes for just one week. I’ve always had knee pain when I was jogging and always had to wear a bandage. After wearing kybun shoes for a week, I noticed that my knee wasn’t causing me any pain anymore. It’s great!

Michele, you recently started wearing new shoes, kyBoot shoes in fact. What kinds of problems had you previously been having with your feet? I was almost completely unable to walk. I was in severe pain, but I must say it’s been a dream since I started wearing these kyBoot shoes. I can move around normally again and even jump up and down. Of course, you have to get used to them. What kind of a problem did you have?Splayfeet. How long have you been wearing the shoes? I’ve been wearing them for a good three months. I have to say, they are really superb. Are you pain-free now? Yes, I don’t have any pain during the day. When I walk around barefoot in the evenings, my problems come back to haunt me.

My feet never freeze when I wear it; even when it’s minus five degrees outside. You just pull on a good pair of socks and waterproof the shoe every now and then. I started waterproofing it on very snowy days. Keeping my feet warm and dry has helped me a lot.

The shoes are relatively expensive, but they are absolutely worth the money. Considering the quality of the shoes and their ability to help you walk, they are absolutely worth the money.

Shoes are very important. They are an important part of the prosthesis. As I said, I could never find the right shoe for me during all the time I spent wearing the prosthesis. The kybun shoe is simply the perfect shoe for me. I first learnt about the kybun shoe when I got onto the bus at a different bus stop. I saw a kybun shop right behind me. There was an intriguing exhibition going on, where a film was being shown. I went to the shop the next day and asked if the kybun shoe could also be something for people who wear prostheses. Mr Meier was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed. He said he didn’t have any experience with people who wear prostheses, but that I could try on a pair of the kybun shoes if I wanted to. I took him up on the offer and since then, I have been impressed with the shoe each and every day.

My steps are softened. My knees hurt less; there are no shocks and impact. I definitely won’t be giving the shoes away.

I was absolutely amazed right from the beginning that it worked and how effective it was. When I step on a stone or uneven ground, I can still feel it despite the absorption in the sole that evens it out.

Hans-Peter Schmid from Zurich, Switzerland

Josef Lingenhöle, gynaecologist from Switzerland

I believe that the kyBoot shoe can absorb the impact of walking, which is exactly what makes it easier to move gently. Personal testimonies show that women benefit from the cushioning effects on their joints not only during their pregnancy but afterwards as well. The kyBoot shoes can also help people who already have problems. For example, people who have had a knee operation or are already experiencing pain in their musculoskeletal system can benefit tremendously from wearing kyBoot shoes.

This is my first time getting out in my kyBoot shoes. I’ve already done a two-and-a-half-hour hike. I feel like I’m walking on moss. It’s fantastic. I have knock knees and haven’t had any problems without insoles. I’m absolutely delighted.

I’m a big fan of these kybun shoes. I’ve suffered from arthritis in my right ankle joint for many years. I’m always on the lookout for good shoes and I’ve been wearing kybun shoes for four years, so I’m a huge fan. I recently tried out the hiking shoes. I’ve been walking in them every day for the past two days. I’ve had no pain at all and am absolutely delighted. Being able to hike without any pain in such a beautiful place is just incredible.

Our hiking group often stood round my wife and me admiring the shoes, particularly because of how the sole adapted so well to the surface and how well we were able to walk. They could hardly believe I had a knee operation in January.

I think it’s wonderful. It feels like I’m walking on a bed of moss. I’m very happy with these shoes.

kybun shoes facilitate active, healthy movement in everyday life. Whether you are walking or standing, it trains your deep inner muscles, protects your joints and strengthens your muscles. It also relaxes the spine, activates the blood circulation and reduces fatigue.

When I began to have severe foot pain due to a bunion (a bony bump that forms above the big toe joint),  I considered having an operation. But I wanted to try out the kybin shoe first. This is how I came to visit the kybun specialty shop at 29 Bodanstrasse in Konstanz, Germany, at 3 pm on 6 February 2016. I was very sceptical, which meant that I asked a lot of questions. I was surprised to discover how friendly and knowledgeable the salesperson was. She was very patient, offered great advice and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. A big compliment is due to this excellent salesperson! I decided to buy the Jindo Tobacco model for men (size 43 1/2) and kept the shoes on for my stroll through the city of Konstanz. The shoes immediately provided a new, more comfortable feeling – I was happy with how comfortable they were. We ended up almost missing the ferry back, and we would have if we hadn’t sprinted our way to the harbour. This is when it struck me that I could never have sprinted like that in my old, regular shoes – at least not without it being extremely painful. I was even happier to realise that I could run painlessly in these shoes. This was not possible before. Thanks to this new level of comfort, I have been able to walk around without the bunion causing me any pain. I also used to suffer from problems due to straining my ankle. These problems also went away very quickly. This shoe saved me from needing an operation. I can only recommend that anyone with similar problems should at least try out the wonderful kybun shoe first, before having an operation.

These shoes has given me totally new experience of walking. Every step is flexible no matter what surface I'm walking on. Comfort usability has worked as well in slush and icy streets as in -30 degrees. Shoes are not sweaty and I can keep my feet incredibly warm when shoes are used with thin wool sock. Absolutely fabulous shoes!

Veikko Huovinen owner of a restaurant in Suomussalmi, Finnland

I have suffered feet troubles many years but finally I found shoes that has insole structure flexible enough to my feet. My work requires lot of standing in restaurant and kitchen where is often water and other slipperiness on the floor but I feel safe because my kybun shoes are not slipper at all. In these shoes I don't feel my feet strained as in normal work shoes even after long day.

When I don’t want to stay out very late, I put on a different pair of shoes so I’ll feel pain in my feet after a while and go home earlier. When I want to stay out late, I put on the kyBoot shoe, since it allows me to stay standing through the entire night.

Of course I did have my doubts because I couldn’t imagine it. I thought it would be very difficult and wondered if I would be steady on my feet. Would the air all escape at some point? But these were all negative suspicions and none of them turned out to be true.

Peter Zwahlen from Switzerland

Roland Diewald from Germany

It was a soft and comfortable feeling. I actually felt very comfortable from the very beginning. I tried walking around in the shoes at this shop for 15 minutes. Then I walked out onto the street right away and wore the shoes all day. I continued to walk, taking tiny steps, feeling very comfortable in the shoes. The main advantage by far is the fact that I don’t stumble anymore. I used to always get caught, either at my toes  or at my heels, which made me skid. Walking is now very pleasant and soft, even for the stump. I no longer feel the hard impact on my knee or stump. It is simply a wonderful, soothing feeling all around.

I had always wanted to experience the feeling of walking on air. I also hope that I’ll get to experience the feeling of sleeping on air sometime, too. I am so impressed by the kyBoot. I will never buy myself any other shoe again. That simply won’t do. Once you try the kyBoot, you can never turn back. I can only say positive things about my experiences with the shoe. As I said, I will never wear another shoe brand again.

Mrs and Mr Mpalastos from Mantoudi Evoias, Greece

Since the beginning of January 2015 I (77 years old) couldn't walk more than 50 meters because of numbness and pain in both legs. I was diagnosed "Central Stenosis" of lumbar spine. I was told by several doctors that I will need to have spinal operation. My wife Stavroula (72 years old) had a similar problem 1 year ago. She couldn’t walk more than 30 meters because of left leg pain. She was diagnosed with “Lateral Stenosis”.  She overcame her problem after intense physical therapy, acupuncture, exercise and progressive walking with kybun shoe after her physiotherapist recommended it. After all her treatment she was walking 2 km without rest, thus she suggested me to try first the same approach. After 4 months of therapy I could walk close to 1 km. I hesitated to buy kybun shoe even I liked a lot, as I tried them for one day. My wife tried to persuade me to buy them because as she said they are not ordinary shoes but they are a valuable equipment. I hesitated because of the cost which was almost my half pension.  Now two months after wearing these wonderful shoes I feel very satisfied for my decision to buy them. I walk with my wife every day for 75 minutes with a fast pace. We compete with each other about who is going to finish first. Our goal is to walk 10 km a day with kybun shoe in a couple years, when we are going to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

I’m always on the lookout for comfortable shoes and that’s how I discovered the kybun shoe. I’m a teacher and I have to stand a lot in my job, and I was beginning to feel the effects in my back, knees and feet. Walking in kybun shoes is very comfortable and pleasant. It’s like a holiday for my feet!

My husband has a pair of kybun shoes and I was quite jealous of him because they were so comfortable, particularly the footbed. I often wear kybun shoes. When I developed hip problems, I was only barely able to walk a few hundred metres to the supermarket. That all changed when I got these shoes. Now I can go walking again.

Marga Ullrich from Mettlach, Germany

I experienced severe pain and swelling in my foot during the summer. It was so bad that I could no longer walk. It was just a few days before my holiday, so I was really in a bind. I quickly put a cooling gel pack in my kybun sandals. After three days, I was so much better that I was able to walk short distances without any pain. My holiday wasn’t a disaster, and it’s all thanks to my kybun shoes. I was able to go everywhere I wanted and experienced virtually no pain. What’s more, I’ve noticed that after wearing kybun shoes for a couple of months, my gait is now much more stable and my leg muscles are much stronger. I’m so grateful for these wonderful shoes. I highly recommend them.

Uri Salzinger, ex-pilot from Spoleto, Italy

On October 1993 I did a forced landing near an air field at the northern part of Israel. On take off, and few minutes air born I've noticed a sudden engine cut, did a rapidly  forced landing in a very bad field for landing, plenty of boulders and rocks. In these circumstances you can choose the right place - you take what you find. Fortunately the passenger didn't suffer any damage, but I broke badly my right ankle. It took me one year and a half of crutches and 3 orthopaedic operations to walk again. Until now I couldn't find  suitable shoes though I  tryed all possible firms and styles. I could walk, but always with pain and uncomfortable sensation. Two months ago a friend from Israel, and shoed me his shoes, which was of your production. I tried them and felt good.  I use those shoes for about one month and a half now,and for the first time after the incident I can walk again without lame ,pain or inconvenience and for relatively long courses even up the hill side. So, in short ,I am very happy now with your shoes and will buy some others for the next winter.

Lene Rasmussen from Denmark

I’ve been a good dancer in Denmark for many years. I did not know that dancing would break my bones. I’ve had surgery but couldn’t walk very well. I bought a pair of shoes from kybun shop in Denmark and thought that these would help to solve my problem. Within two months I began to walk better again. I lost about 8 kg of my weight over 7-8 months. During that time, I bought six pairs of sandals and shoes from kybun. These shoes have changed my life and I’m also able to walk faster. I am free of insoles, which I used for many years. I am very happy with my new life.

Jürgen Zeller from Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany

I had both my legs amputated at the thigh 25 years ago, and two years ago I had the latest high-tech prosthetics fitted. I’d hoped to be able to finally walk better with them but sadly this wasn’t the case and I was left disappointed. Despite the modern technology, which cost me €90,000, I still couldn’t walk on cobblestones.  But then I found the kybun shoes online. At first I was unsure about the soft sole of the kybun shoes but I discovered a completely new feeling after walking just a few steps. I felt like I could feel every millimetre of the ground. It was incredible that the prosthetic foot unexpectedly began to work and the kybun shoes perfected the entire roll-off phase of the foot. Getting up from a chair or out of the car has also proven to be much easier. I don’t slip on wet surfaces or snow anymore thanks to the kybun shoes.  I already have four pairs of kybun shoes now and cobblestones are no longer a problem! Dr. Holdener from Switzerland

It was an experiment and we had no scientific proof that it would work. We were surprised to discover that it could improve neurological movement disorders, including MS and Parkinson’s disease. Of course, we also have patients with paralysis caused by a stroke, for example. We let them walk on the soft, springy kybun mat. We saw a clinical improvement in the situation. For example, this means that all of a sudden, patients with Parkinson’s disease require less medication or even none at all. They also no longer experience tremors. We’ve also noticed an improvement in MS patients, but we have definitely seen the greatest improvement in patients with Parkinson’s disease. However, mobility has also improved for patients with paralysis. It is actually a mystery to us how these improvements came about. We just don’t know. We can only assume that the stimulation caused by spatial awareness and in the lower extremities stimulates brain tissue. Certain interactions that were disconnected are suddenly open again. This is typical in Parkinson’s disease. We are continuing our research in this area in order to be able to confirm this with other patients with Parkinson’s disease. We were very surprised that it has an effect and of course, we’re delighted that it’s possible to help these patients.

The kyBoot model that I have is quite eye-catching. It is an athletic shoe. Some young people came up to me recently to tell me that I have a cool pair of shoes. Although they probably had no idea what else the shoe is capable of.

Since I started to use the kybun shoe two years ago, I have much less pain in my feet, quicker recuperation after working out and less stiffness in my backside. Considering that I work out 7-8 times a week the shoes offers a good complement for recovering. According to me, a good shoe for shop staff.

Very pleasant to walk with, like walking on clouds. I’ve had them for a year now and they´re still in super condition. Before, when I had normal shoes, even good training shoes, my feet used to hurt terribly when I got home from a normal 12hr working day. But not anymore. It is certainly a big difference.

The main improvements for me is that my knees get less tired, I have no pain in my feet and due to standing 10-12hrs a day at work, my lower back used to hurt. Since I began using kybun shoe two years ago, this is not a problem anymore.

I hesitated for a long time before buying a pair of air-cushioned kybun shoes. I usually wear elegant leather shoes. The gentle way you walk in the kybun shoe is amazing. I bought my second and third pairs of kybun shoes last week and I’m very satisfied. The new styles are much bolder in terms of design. They’re less conservative and boring than the first lines ;-) They’re a pleasure to walk in! I really like that they are mostly made in Switzerland and I hope the employees are receiving a fair wage. I don’t have that much money, but I’m happy to spend what I have on goods produced fairly that will last a long time if treated carefully. I would like to thank you for this ingenious invention!

Another change I have noted is that I am now able to go over much longer distances without getting tired. All thanks kybun shoe system. So now that summer is approaching I bought a pair of kybun sandals so I am ready for it! Greetings from a very satisfied customer

Especially in my wife’s business. They couldn’t understand why I raved about them so much. As hairdressers, they spend a lot of time on their feet, so I told them about kybun. I wasn’t able to convince them to try them out, but that’s not to say they won’t in the future!

In the beginning, I tried doing exercises in the morning. Sometimes strengthening exercises, stretching exercises or movement exercises. Then I thought of going jogging because that’s something I used to do a lot. But I was unable to incorporate it into my daily routine. It took up too much time. Then I came across kybun and stood on the kybun mat, stood on a soft surface and went walking in kybun shoes. That’s when it became possible to incorporate exercise into my daily routine, above all into my daily routine at work. I no longer need to take painkillers. I wouldn’t start taking them now either. There’s no need. I feel like my back is really healthy, and I don’t have any pain. I can lift things and travel between 40,000 and 45,000 kilometres every year. I know this isn’t good for me. I also need to lift a lot at work, but I don’t have any problems anymore.

I feel like my posture is more upright and my walk is more rounded. I no longer feel any shocks and I don’t have back pain in the evenings any more. For me, the air holes are a plus. My feet often get sweaty, but now I always have dry feet thanks to the ventilation.

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

I can’t imagine giving a concert on the kybun mat. You have to of course imagine when you hold the violin up here, the movements that you make result in a certain discomfort. Either for the intonation in your left hand because you only have to shift your finger a tiny bit for it to not be so precise anymore. And also with the slurs during a staccato piece, it naturally creates a certain degree of discomfort. This is at the expense of how precisely you play. But I actually find it a good exercise for practising, because it forces me to improve and then I play better in the concert too.

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

Peter Freund from Appenzell, Switzerland

I wear them pretty much every day, no exaggeration. Even in my spare time, because I find them so comfortable.

These do come at a price. They’re definitely pretty high-end in terms of cost. But that’s nothing compared to what I had to spend on my health insurance and so on because of my old health problems. I’m happy to pay for these shoes, and I’d recommend them, too. They’re really great.

Don St John, Ph.D., Somatic Psychologist from Salt Lake City, Utah - USA

These are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever worn. As a somatic psychologist, I am well aware of the importance of having your feet support the rest of your body. The kybun shoes provide great support for my lumbar spine. I am 72 years old and play a lot of golf, so every once in a while my back is sore. All I have to do is take a walk in my kybun shoe and my back feels completely relieved. Moreover, they make me feel as if I am walking on air. In the past the first thing I did when I came home from the office is to remove my shoes. Now, I am reluctant to take them off; they are more comfortable than my slippers. So for comfort and support, I can no longer wear any other shoes. My second pair will be arriving soon, and I am already thinking about my third pair. They are worth every penny.

F. T. from Jona, Switzerland

I bought my first pair of kybun shoes last autumn, as I was still struggling with the consequences of the accident I had in the summer of 2013. The torn muscle fibres in my right calf were very persistent. I underwent six months of physiotherapy and had an ultrasound (showing a 15 cm haematoma between fibres), X-rays and an MRI. After that, I had another round of physio with shockwave therapy. I also received acupuncture treatments and intense massages. Things seemed to be getting better in the short term, but the breakthrough result appeared to be just out of reach. I had severe pain in my right foot every time I stood up, and this mystified my doctors. Why am I experiencing pain in my foot when it was my calf muscles that were damaged? I decided to try out kybun shoes in October 2014. The staff members in the shop were friendly and provided very good advice, and I left with a pair of shoes. I’ve been wearing the shoes all day since then, when I’m on the go as well as at the office. I’ve even gone on a few gentle hiking wearing them. Despite the pain and against the advice of my GP, I have continued to take part in my favourite sport – partner dance (mostly disco swing and jive or in other words, the types of dance that involve a lot of movement). Alongside that I’ve been doing weekly strength training and stretching exercises, among other things. My GP organised an appointment for me in the Etzel clinic in the autumn and called in a sports doctor especially to handle my case. I got an appointment for 22 January 2015. However, my pain was gradually decreasing, and when it came to the time of the appointment, I had no pain at all. My GP still advised me to go to the appointment. The doctors at the clinic were amazed. They took X-rays and asked a lot of questions. How is it possible? They could no longer see any symptoms. The two specialists could only agree on the fact that the X-rays no longer showed any abnormalities. One of them thought that a minor insole could counteract the mild inward bend of my foot (why?). The sports medicine specialist believed I had done everything correctly. STAY MOBILE! He praised the work I had put in and my choice of physiotherapy methods (shockwave therapy and acupuncture). He emphasized how he believed that the constant mobilisation relieved the pain in my foot. This is all thanks to my kybun shoes. He advised me to continue doing what I have been doing – wearing kybun shoe shows, taking part in sport, and dancing. He was firmly against the insoles! The pain was the result of the relieving posture I had been using from the time of my accident, which I continued to use for a long time after the accident. Continuously freely moving my foot allowed me to get out from the pattern I was stuck in almost unnoticed. Well, all I can say is: Thank you so much.

Mrs. Zoi Rokomou from Greece

I was introduced to kybun shoe from my physiotherapist, asking him to suggest me some shoes for walking after having spinal fusion of my last three segments of my lower back. From the first moment I stood on them I felt that they were going to help me, I got motivated to walk more and more because I really enjoyed the feeling by walking on them. After 6 weeks of their usage I noticed that: I could stand up for more than 3 hours straight without resting while before I could not stand up for more than 45 minutes, I could walk without rest for 70 minutes instead of 30, my swelling on my feet which had been there -after my low back operation 4 years ago - disappeared and I could distinguish different tendons and bones of my feet, the painful hallux valgus almost disappeared and finally some painful dilated blood vessels below of my right knee that I had been told to have some injections they no longer bother me and now I can not see them .

Marios Zambelis from Chalcis, Greece

I have a problem with my back and on my knees. They were burdened from the weight of my body. At some time I felt my legs to become stronger since trying to balance on the shoes made me exercising them continuously withtout big effort. Wearing them for a long period it makes you feel familiar with this.

Roberto Rendo, dentist, La Spezia, Italy

I have suffered from upper and lower back pain for a long time now. Due to the nature of my work, you could say I’m ‘chained’ to the dental chair for more than eight hours a day. I have to bend over the patients I’m treating, meaning my back muscles are always tense. I came to a turning point at age 60, when a physiatrist friend of mine advised me to wear kybun shoes. It was the solution to almost all of my postural problems. Taking a walk in my new kybun shoes is worth more to me than a session with an osteopath or an hour of Pilates! Aside from the wonderful feeling of walking on a cloud, my posture instantly rebalances and my back pain slowly disappears. I’m so happy with them that I bought one pair for the hospital where I work, another for my private practice, a sportier pair for spring and a winter pair for rainy days. Now I can’t get along without them. I also wanted to give a pair to my brother, who is an officer in the Carabinieri. He has had several operations for badly herniated vertebral discs. He was also very happy and satisfied with this new approach, after having tried many alternative therapies. But all these words are a waste of time ... you need to try them to understand the comfort, quality and therapeutic properties! You have to try them to believe it! Thank you, kybun. I will always be grateful to you. I will only buy kybun shoes!

I boght them after trying in standing and walking because it felt like I was flying. Yes indeed after wearing them for almost 4 months. I feel like I am flying not walking!!!

Galina Babarika from Czech Republik

I have scoliosis since childhood, probably as a result of 1 cm one leg short, I'm still living with pain (in the back, below the right shoulder blade, then began to manifest pain in the hip). I did not know nothing about Swiss footwear brand kybun. Fortuitously, I met a man that works with the company kybun. I studied the technology and started with trust to wear kybun shoes. After one year and two months since I got the kybun shoe, I can 100% certainty that biomechanoterapi works. No pain under the shoulder blade! I have no pain in the hip, strengthened stability in the legs. I thank God that he took care of my health and gave me new friends.

Mr. Karst from Andernach, Germany

For me, things were not going well; my shoes stopped me from doing a lot. I could not walk much in my shoes and had a lot of pain in my back, upper legs and hip. Then, I saw kybun shoes in the shop and went in to find out what sort of shoes they were selling. I then got a pair to try and immediately thought “Wow.” I had never experienced shoes like them. I almost had to hold onto the counter or else I would have fallen over, as I was a little wobbly at first. However, I quite quickly realised that this is very good for my body and that it would help me to cope with my pain so that I could get on much better in the future. All I had to do then was sign my name and I got a pair of shoes to try out. I was only interested in wearing the shoes for nearly a good week at least to see how I got on with them myself. On Tuesday afternoon, I received the shoes and, on Friday morning, I wore the shoes again and have had no more pain since. I have no more pain in my hip and back. No more pain at all, it’s all gone!! I had actually planned to have surgery on my hip this year, but it now looks like I no longer need the operation. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who has problems with their bones and skeletal structure. Everyone should put aside a little bit of money when they have it if they cannot pay for them all in one go. This way, you can afford the shoes after saving up. It will do wonders for your health, that’s all I can say. I’ve experienced it myself and now bought two pairs of shoes. I saved up for them, too and have also saved even more. I buy things that I see that are good for me and my wife, and these two pairs of shoes are great for just that.

Mr. Karst from Andernach, Germany

T. W. kybun shoes during pregnancy, Switzerland

I would highly recommend wearing kybun shoes during pregnancy. For me, it was the perfect shoe to wear during the day to relieve the increased pressure on my feet and other joints and gently strengthen my body at the same time. I often felt physically tired, but my kybun shoes motivated me to keep moving and remain active during my entire pregnancy. Walking is so comfortable that even on days when you’re tired, you still feel like walking for a few kilometres. And you feel very fit afterwards. Another thing I love about kybun shoes is how they activated circulation in my legs. I suffered from circulatory problems and would often suddenly feel a strong, shooting dizziness sensation, particularly in the mornings. That’s why I was so happy to find a shoe that activated my circulation! Wearing the shows, together with surgical stockings, really made me feel a lot better. I never had the back pain that many pregnant women suffer from. I don’t know if I was just lucky or if it was thanks to my daily exercise in my kybun shoes. I’m pregnant now for the second time and enjoying walking in my kybun shoe to relieve the strain on my body and exercise at the same time.

Mrs. Eisbach from Andernach, Germany

I’m so impressed with these shoes. I used to have a heel spur and I’ve actually lost track of all the places I tried before resorting to private treatment. Let me tell you straight up that it was ridiculously expensive. I tried everything that my health insurance would cover and honestly, I was going around with a really bad heel spur for a year and a half. I just didn’t know where to go in the end. My husband and I really love hiking. But I just couldn’t go anymore so he had to go alone, which really upset me. I always thought that there must be something else out there and then I discovered this shop. I thought, ok, I’ll have a look and then I ended up buying the shoes. I had some minor problems with them in the beginning because I had an inflammation in my foot. Once that cleared up, it only took four days for the pain in my feet to go away. I think I’ve had these shoes for about three months now and they’re still the only ones I wear. I highly recommend them. I’m so impressed! For me, these shoes are the best thing since sliced bread!

Mrs. Eisbach from Andernach, Germany

Oscar Scarione, Argentinian football player

I always wear the shoe at home or when I’m travelling with the team. I wear the kybun shoe in my leisure time as well. Since I started wearing the shoe, I have far less back pain.

I can't recommend kybun shoes highly enough. I am now 76 and have been a long distance walker and country dancer for many years. In that time I have tried so many shoes and my kybun shoes are quite the best. They are so comfortable that I wear them all the time for walking, gardening, zumba dancing and housework.  They are as comfortable as the softest slippers and yet tough enough for a 10mile cross country walk. I also have a physiotherapist friend who is very impressed by the shoes shock absorbing  properties and the supportive fit which makes them ideal for ageing joints.

Leeroy Lo, from Singapore

Walking with pain used to be part of my daily lifestyle. I suffered heavily from lower back aches and sore heels, not to mention my feet would constantly feel extremely hot after long hours of standing. It was not until I saw a small advertisement which had three simple words, "Walk-on-air",kybun shoe. After that everything changed. That very night, the internet supplied me all I needed to know about kybun and before I knew it , I was ordering my first pair of kybun shoe. Only I ordered the wrong size! Images of horrific online shopping stories started swirling in my head, as I begun the dreadful customer service phone procedure, only to be greeted by a wonderful lady. She cheerily greeted me, and after I explained my terribly awkward mishap, promptly gave me perfect advise for shoe sizing and settled the ordering purchase immediately. Now I wont lie, I love walking on air. Experiencing the first moments of putting on my kybun shoes felt like relearning how to walk again. This time, pain free. It was enjoyably hysterical when I took my first few steps as my ankles had to read just to the softness of the floor bed. Once I got the hang of it, I noticed immediately that the pain on my lower back was alleviated. It occurred to me that a lot of pressure that was initially borne by my back was now transferred away and that my body was more relaxed during my normal walking form. The heat from my foot soles seemed to develop much more slowly, and generally walking has now become a pain free experience. Thank you kybun for giving me the gift of enjoyable walking, and for being a company that not only is proud of its shoes, but has a service family that sincere, heartfelt and seriously amazing. I cant begin to thank you guys enough!

Manuela Fellner, singer and Swiss Grand Prix champion, Switzerland

I'm happy when I can change my shoes. I had to strut around in high heels on the gravel, and on top of that I had stones in my shoes. I'm glad I can put my kyBoot shoes back on.

No other shoe like this! My job requires me to work on my feet all day. Two years ago my metatarsal arch dropped. The pain was unbearable at first but with orthotics I was able to work and have worn them ever since. Now the pain is back and the orthotic is bothering me…my physiotherapist believes my foot muscles have become weak (probably from the orthotic) and indeed, when I'm able to exercise the foot, the pain relief is very apparent. In the meantime I need a soft soled shoe to keep me on my feet. The kybun shoes are not only the softest shoes I've ever worn, but they will help strengthen my feet as well! How perfect is that? I have worked my current job for 32 years and am eligible for early retirement in a few more years, but I didn't think I'd be able to make it. I had actually started looking for another line of work, and preparing to give up all the seniority and benefits I currently enjoy (including early retirement!). Now I won't have to do that. I'm so glad I found these shoes, they are amazing, like nothing else I've ever worn! And I just have to add, after wearing the shoes for the last two weeks at work. My feet actually feel better after five days of work, than they do after my two days off without them!
I can't wait until I can afford to buy another pair for wearing around the house, can't live without them now

The shoes help relieve my lower back pain. I’ll wear kybun shoes whenever I know I will be walking a lot that day. After a long day, when I remove the shoes, I could hardly walk on the hard floor because the kybun shoe makes walking more comfortable.

Wearing kybun shoes feels like walking on air. I wear them while travelling and it makes walking long distances an ease. Best part was I wore the kybun shoe during the entire Singapore F1 race. Being a volunteer marshal, I need to be alert, on our feet, standing and walking for 15 hours every day for the entire race weekend. Wearing the kybun shoe made this experience very enjoyable as I felt much less fatigue.

Friday: Five hours on the go on foot in Hamburg at a temperature of about 0°C; feet are warm after a short time walking.
Saturday: Ten hours on the go on foot in Hamburg at a temperature of about 0°C; it’s unbelievable that I stuck it out for so long!
Thursday: Walk on the beach on Amrum Island. Rainwater on the sand had collected to form a giant pond. There was no way around it, I had to go through it. I took off my shoes and socks. It was about 7°C and the soles of my feet were numb after walking just a few metres. I didn’t have a towel with me. All I could do was dust off my feet with my hands and then put my socks and shoes back on. Afterwards, I had about a half an hour’s walk ahead of me to get to the village. I made up my mind there and then to take a foot bath when I got back to my holiday apartment. However, when I got back to the village, I realised it would no longer be necessary, as my feet were already warm and toasty again! GREAT!
My kybun shoes are the only shoes I wear at work now and I recommend them to all my patients. They are the best shoes I’ve ever had! My mother wears them at home and loves how warm and cosy they make her feet.

Josef Lingenhöle, gynaecologist from Switzerland

It feels rather unstable. And you notice its effect because it forces you to move differently. It’s just a small adjustment, but it teaches you to walk more purposefully. You get used to the feeling very quickly. It feels very pleasant and comfortable. This is why I began to feel very well in these shoes at my practice after a short transition period. Now I always wear kybun shoes at my practice and I feel very comfortable in them.

The shoes came to my attention at an event, where I had the chance to try on a pair of kyBoot shoes. After two hours of walking around I was sure that I needed these shoes for my next trade fair. What impressed me the most was that you are constantly in motion and stand more upright. The effect that had on me was that my back pain disappeared. I was always in pain after one or two days of office work. Since starting to wear these shoes, I have effectively not had any more trouble.

I can’t think of anything about these shoes that could be improved. If they were taken away from me, I would quit. They are so important. I feel happy every time I put them on and walk in them. They just work, almost of their own accord. I don’t have to exert myself when I walk in them. I don’t have to concentrate to walk five or six kilometres in them. I can walk with complete freedom. The shoes relax my whole body, which enables me to enjoy life! They are a lifeline. As you get older, you start to value this sort of thing.

I used to have a pair of MBT shoes, but it was too complicated for me. The first pair weren't even rounded underneath and it was very hard work. Then I had the shoes foam-injected, but it was really tricky walking in them. I've still got those shoes; they're like new, but of course I'm no longer interested in them. Jessica Brändle, sings alto in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

I'd never worn shoes like this before; I'd never heard of them. The first time I wore kybun shoes, it was extremely tough for me to stand in the shoes while singing. I needed a moment off to stand on the hard ground. The next day my calf muscles ached. But it kept getting better over time. I got used to it more and the shoes got softer. Now it feels really pleasant singing on that surface. You bounce about a bit,  which is very pleasant.

I've known the kyBoot, and before that MBT, for quite a while, as I've known Karl Müller for many years. When I joined the choir, we had to dress up in white, so I went out looking for white shoes and found a pair of moccasins made for medical staff. But after the long concerts I always had hot, sore feet and my back hurt. I remembered the kyBoot and bought myself a white pair. Emanuel Sieber asked me what I needed the shoes for and whether I worked at the hospital. I explained that I needed the shoes for the choir, and that's how we got talking.

But it has given me a lot of gyp. I used to work in an opera house, and that was physical work. That's why I was forced to give up that job to go back into education or retrain to return to my old job. Since then, I've managed a couple of months without pain. That is, I still get exercise. I strengthen my stomach and back muscles. At first I was quite sceptical about kybun shoes, as I didn't like the way they looked. But I told myself that if they might be of benefit, I should at least try them out. Now I never want to be without them again. The feeling I have when I walk and my general wellbeing are quite different.

René Keusen, deputy head of logistics for the Cantonal Court of Zurich, Switzerland

Beat Müller, music producer, Switzerland

Of course, when you spend so much time on your feet you do get a bit more quality of life. And if you feel good, that automatically improves your mood.

Rolf Hässig, has the largest Motocross collection in Europe, Switzerland

The advantage of these shoes is simplythe health aspect. I don't have any back pain any more – nothing. That's really the advantage.

Rolf Hässig, has the largest Motocross collection in Europe, Switzerland

Tamara Zäch, Switzerland

I have the feeling that it loosens you up a bit generally. Because you are really standing in a nice loose position, you automatically have a different posture. So you can't tense up at all.

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

It's great for me, as we have various different evenings, for example an evening for friends of the museum, or the museum open night. Then you're on your feet until midnight, and before that you had your working day behind you. It's great for me, as I have absolutely no trouble with my feet or my knees. And when I sometimes see how xhausted my younger colleagues are – and I'm the oldest one here at the museum – then it's always nice to say, I've really got no problem! And I feel fine.”

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

It feels very soft in them when you walk; you're comfortable all day and don't get tired. They have a good sole and are fine if I go out with the dogs in the rain and wet grass. I don't then have to go home to put on new shoes: they last it out.

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

So, there are now fivepeople who have bought kyBoot shoes for me. But, you see, I've just kept up with it.
Of course, one pair of shoes wasn't enough for me then. And then winter came, up here at a height of 1500 m.
Well, then I started with my first pair of winter boots. Then came walking boots. And now I've got a smart pair of new winter boots. Then, of course, I've got a pair for the summer and three for between the seasons.

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Urs Leuenberger, choirmaster, Switzerland

One thing I can say for certain is that no-one could stand straight any more. On these mats, you're constantly moving about. You can't help but move. It does some people who are rather "stiff" a whole world of good.

Urs Leuenberger, choirmaster, Switzerland

Manuela Zeller, sings alto in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

At first it really does take some getting used to, as it's very wobbly. Because as well as your normal movements, there are effectively added movements. It really supports you and gives you more energy.

Manuela Zeller, sings alto in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

Res Gerber, sings tenor in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

Because your body is more active, it lifts your mood. I could certainly imagine that it helps your voice carry better.

Res Gerber, sings tenor in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

Rita Brüllhardt, sings alto in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

At first, with the mat and the shoes, I felt dizzy; you wobble about a bit. And now I notice that I'm making an effort to walk upright.

Rita Brüllhardt, sings alto in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

Roger Stauffer, sings bass in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

I've got a mat at home, for my high desk. Sometimes at work. Then you can stand for longer, definitely. Once you've had a while to get used to it. It's like exercise, when you've used your muscles for a long time. If you just exercise every now and then, you tend to get tired faster. Your muscles ache or you feel it in your calves. But otherwise, I think the mat can have a supportive effect. You can stand more comfortably and for longer.

Roger Stauffer, sings bass in the Gossau gospel choir, Switzerland

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Good work shoes cost between 150–180 francs, too. And if you pay another 100 francs on top but then have less trouble and don't have to take any more painkillers, then it's worth it, I'd say. Looking to the future, it's a good investmen

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

René Keusen, deputy head of logistics for the Cantonal Court of Zurich, Switzerland

Well, the benefit is definitely if you stand for long periods, for instance, or work in sales, then you really don't get any back pain any more. That's what I always find.

René Keusen, deputy head of logistics for the Cantonal Court of Zurich, Switzerland

Beat Müller, music producer, Switzerland

A very airy feeling. I feel like I'm floating or flying. I've felt much better since getting these shoes. I can get out and about and walk round a lot. My feet don't hurt any more; instead I feel as if I could spend another five hours on my feet.

Beat Müller, music producer, Switzerland

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

I'm planning on buying the walking boots as the shaft is slightly higher. But not so much for everyday use as for the holidays. When you really walk or hike longer distances. One reason they're so great is that you don't feel the stones. I usually walk the dogs on a natural path, and then you're happy if you don't feel every stone.

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

As I walk into work and walkback home, too, it takes 50 minutes altogether toget to work. That means the kybun shoe is a huge relief. I've got walking boots and summer shoes.I simply wear them all year round.

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Olivier van der Staal, chef, Renan, Switzerland

If you work a lot – and of course I'm a Chef and had to stand a lot, twelve hours at a time, with little exercise – then you do get a bit of, well I wouldn't call it pain, but at the end of the day the soles of your feet are sore. And in these shoes you don't feel a thing.

Olivier van der Staal, chef, Renan, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

I notice that I'm deliberately moving differently. A bit more gently and better. I'm a housewife; I don't go jogging, but mopping is my exercise, and that's my jogging, really. I bend my knees a lot doing it, and I think the kybun shoe helps a lot with that. The shoes help me get it done. They're almost like slightly larger trainers.

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Armin Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

You can tell you aren't walking the same. That your body reacts differently, and it's simply pleasant walking in kybun shoes.

Armin Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

The ones I am wearing now are for cycling. They look chic and go with my electric bike. Everything always has to match. Then I've got black patent leather shoes – I'd even wear those to visit St. Moritz. When I'm wearing a nice mohair pullover, black trousers and then these black patent leather shoes, I think it looks great. I feel really comfortable in it.

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Santo Palamara, owner of Friulana Osteria and Pizzeria, Munich, Germany

Alida Palamara, landlady at Friulana Osteria and Pizzeria, Munich, Germany

I work in a restaurant and spend all day on my feet. At first it made them hurt, but with these shoes I no longer have any pain.

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

I wore kyBoot shoes at the Christmas market in Rorschach. I had skiing socks on in the shoes and my feet weren't cold at all. Usually I always had to wear walking boots. But in kyBoot shoes it was wonderful. I've tried it a couple of times now. At the market in Arbon. I felt much better than in walking boots. In any case, it's no good when you have heavy shoes on all day. But in kyBoot shoes it was wonderful.

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

Robert Spitz, sales representative for Nahrin, Switzerland

At first you think it's really wobbly, but today I know that it somehow helps strengthen your muscles even better. And I really haven't had any Problems with my knee any more: nothing. It's very good.

Robert Spitz, sales representative for Nahrin, Switzerland

Peter Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

I love wearing my kyBoot shoes, so I wear them almost daily. I always have them on at work. In my spare time I sometimes wear the sandals.

Peter Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

At first I often felt tired and my muscles ached. One reason was no doubt that I wore the shoes all day. I'd recommend that older People should start out more slowly. A young person can wear the shoes all day without any trouble. The aching muscles are nothing compared to the pain I used to have.

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

Arnold Graf from Rheintal, Switzerland

I have arthritis in one knee, and these shoes make an incredible difference. When I walk on hard surfaces for a long time wearing regular shoes, I feel pain after just ten minutes.

Arnold Graf from Rheintal, Switzerland

Beat Jäger from Thurgau, Switzerland

If I can wear a pair of kyBoot shoes then I will. Slippers, trainers, outdoor shoes and obviously shoes for smarter occasions as well.

Beat Jäger from Thurgau, Switzerland

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

At a shopping fair, if I walk long distances through the aisles or have to stand a lot, I say to myself with increasing frequency that comfort is much more important to me. They don't look bad. The kyBoot has been developed since the first generation. What's very important to me is to feel good and stay healthy.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

It's a great added benefit. I'm no longer reliant on those orthopedic insoles. feel good, am more relaxed as I walk and feel far less tired in the evening.

Christina Weisskirchen from Thun, Switzerland

I’m delighted with them and I no longer have any pain. I would definitely recommend these shoes!

I was unfortunate to get had some knee injuries, but the kybun shoe takes the pressure off my joints and relieves them.

Sepp Müller, Uttwil Musical Society, Switzerland

We were at a regional music festival where we wore the shoes from morning to night. The next day, my feet were fine. I had no pain at all. My feet always ached with my old shoes. I would always have to Cool my feet down the next day. I had no problem whatsoever with the kybun shoes. It was very positive for me.

Dr. Shmulik Itzchak, Orthopedic physician, Ramat Efal, Israel

Hi, my name is Dr. Shmulik Itzchak, I am orthopedic and sports physician. I met the kyBoot system a few months ago. From the first moment, the wonderful soft feeling in the foot impressed me very much. I really enjoyed the feeling inside the shoe. I can testify that from my own experience and that of many people I met and sent that all felt a relief in their feet with the help of kyBoot, the first thing I did was bring my father to buy a pair of kyBoot and he enjoys them too. As an orthopedic and sports physician I can say that anyone who needs a soft sole, this is the softest sole that I have ever come across in the shoe industry. I recommend them very highly. Have a nice day.

Dr. Shmulik Itzchak, Orthopedic physician, Ramat Efal, Israel

Ruty Ben Yehuda, Chief of Administration, Anemia Clinic, Rabin Medical Center, Hod Hasharon, Israel

In 2010 I tore a ligament in my knee and I had sever pains in my knee, until I came across kyBoot shoes that were recommended to me and I started wearing them, and what a miracle! After I got used to them, the shoes did their job and the pain decreased. I recommended the shoes to my husband who has back pain, to my brother and sister, and I think all of them enjoy the shoes and are happy.

Ruty Ben Yehuda, Chief of Administration, Anemia Clinic, Rabin Medical Center, Hod Hasharon, Israel

Roni Ben Yehuda, Property Manager, Hod Hasharon, Israel

For many years I had back pain that increased with time, I looked for remedies in different methods: orthopedic insoles, special shoes… And unfortunately they all provided partial relief that did not eliminate my pain. I came across kyBoot shoes and I decided to try them. To my surprise, as I started to get used to them and walk in them more and more, the shoes proved themselves and gave me relief, they did not eradicate the pain completely, but eased my pain and helped me walk around and stay well and therefore I intend to buy a second pair. I had recommended them to my wife, who bought them too and I recommend them to my friends and I think that the shoes have a wonderful future.

Roni Ben Yehuda, Property Manager, Hod Hasharon, Israel

Rey Muskal, Animal Assisted Therapist, Ramat Hasharon, Israel

I always looked for comfortable sports shoes that I could wear from morning to night and not return home at the end of the day with foot pain. I walk a lot and since I wear kyBoot I am able to go for longer walks, longer distances and I come home with no foot pain, often I forget that I am wearing them and I keep them on around the house, and that's a sign that I am comfortable, and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for comfortable shoes or has pain, to try them.

Rey Muskal, Animal Assisted Therapist, Ramat Hasharon, Israel

Dr. Rafi Fisher, Dentist, Ramat Gan, Israel

My work in the clinic involves a lot of movement: sitting, standing… Now I suddenly I have a shock absorber, which is very important; it helps me with my back pain. I really feel like I am walking on air. I have less back pain and fewer problems that I had on daily basis. I can gladly say that I have recommended the shoes to friends and also on my Facebook page and to my dentist friends, and as a teacher of agronomy an all that is connected with that field, I hope that my recommendation is considered a professional opinion.

Dr. Rafi Fisher, Dentist, Ramat Gan, Israel

Menashe Terem, CEO Start Up, Yavne, Israel

I started using these shoes after I had orthopedic corrective insoles for over 10 years. There is a big difference in the therapeutic effect; the insoles decreased my pain, whereas in these shoes I have no pain. I wear them 12, 13, 14 hours each day and every day since I bought them. I haven’t stopped using them, even for a short while. And recently, to complete the rest of my day, for which formal black shoes are not right, I bought another pair.

Menashe Terem, CEO Start Up, Yavne, Israel

Meir Raz, Landscape Designer, Mevaseret Zion, Israel

I have problems with my ankles; the doctors recommended an operation or steroids injections. I feel that I can depend on these shoes. They have spared me both treatments. I feel the improvement every single day, I can go to work and know that I will return home in good condition. I can plan the evening and the day because the shoes do their "trick". I am responsible for the purchasing of more and more pairs, about 15 pairs. I estimate that 15 pairs of shoes were sold by my recommendation to people around me.

Meir Raz, Landscape Designer, Mevaseret Zion, Israel

Maya Katsir, student and waitress, Tel-Aviv, Israel

I suffered with pains in my legs and knees. I work as a waitress and we do 8 hours shifts. I looked for shoes that could help me endure the entire shift. Then I discovered kyBoot and bought a pair. I adjusted to them very quickly, I had no problems.  I enjoy working in them; it feels like walking on pillows, or clouds… It's been a year and I use only them. I recommended to the chefs at the restaurant to buy them because they are very comfortable for standing and they do not slip in the kitchen, which is good for both, chefs and waiters. And that's it – it's wonderful.

Maya Katsir, student and waitress, Tel-Aviv, Israel

Josh Goldberg, owner of 'Coffee Station' café, Ramat Gan, Israel

I suffered from pains in my legs because of hard work in my café. I got to the point where I felt like my legs are going to break. I bought a pair of kybun shoe and after about an hour all my pain disappeared. I feel much more stable, it is very comfortable to work in them, and I recommend them very highly.

Josh Goldberg, owner of 'Coffee Station' café, Ramat Gan, Israel

Herman Kreples, Automobile Mechanic, Rishon Lezion, Israel

These shoes are very suitable for me, personally, for my problem, which is a severe flat feet, according to the doctors. Nothing had helped me until I found the shoes by kybun. Lately I have bought a second pair. I cannot take them off my feet; I work only with them, I walk in them. On my trips abroad I used them too. I got through the days with pleasure, no pains in my legs, and I am very content.

Herman Kreples, Automobile Mechanic, Rishon Lezion, Israel

Danny Katsir, kyBoot shop owner, Yavne, Israel

All my life I have been looking for shoes, these shoes I met by chance after 20 years of searching for comfortable shoes. When I tried the shoes for the first time I had an acute problem in my right foot, a painful spur that caused me to limp. The moment I put my foot in the shoe I had stopped limping. Since then I do not take them off, I only wear them. These shoes have changed my life and improved its quality. They enable me to walk or stand 12 hours a day. I have no pain. All my orthopedic problems are still there but they do not bother me anymore.

Danny Katsir, kyBoot shop owner, Yavne, Israel

Adi Porat, Event Producer 'SimchaMaker', Rishpon, Israel

I am an event producer and while working I walk many hours during the day, from morning till afternoon. I wear my working clothes and at 5 pm I change into formal dress, so I look elegant. I haven’t found a pair of shoes that are comfortable, that I can wear and walk in up to 6 pm. By the time the event began I would be in pain: pains in my knees, in my back, I used pain killers, ointments and so on. The event had not started yet and I would be in tatters. Until I came across the ideal thing: kyBoot shoes. From the moment I put them on my body felt differently immediately, really, no kidding. There was a different feeling in my body. I felt less pains, until they disappeared completely, after the third or fourth time I walk in the shoes. I was not in pain. I started to produce my events in leisure, without pain killers or ointments. I recommend them to anyone, whatever the pain, they can help everyone.

Adi Porat, Event Producer 'SimchaMaker', Rishpon, Israel

Eli Vaknin, Businessman, Beit Dagan, Israel

I used to be a television technician, and I developed knee problems. Any new shoes that came out… there is nothing I haven’t tried. For the first time there is something which truly solved my problem. My father who is 76 could hardly walk, and today he walks freely and enjoys the shoes. He doesn't take them off, even on the Sabath. I intend to buy the entire collection.

Eli Vaknin, Businessman, Beit Dagan, Israel

Doris Blum from Bern, Switzerland

It was a skiing accident. I was skiing off-piste and had an accident. I jumped over a ridge and landed badly in a small ditch. The accident almost tore apart my whole knee. I was in a very serious situation. The experts thought long and hard about whether or not to operate, as they didn’t know if it would ever get better. That’s why I was very thankful that I had these shoes.

Doris Blum from Bern, Switzerland

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

I think that the major difference is when I’m standing and practising normally I have a different posture for my neck vertebra. Now when I’m standing on the kyBounder, I feel like my hips are pushed forward more. I move my knees a little bit. The major difference is that now I’m always moving. It’s the kind of movement that you always need to balance out with your feet. I feel like this results in less tension.

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

I had serious problems. I had to wear orthopaedic insoles all the time for the last years. I used to have regular problems with my hips. That's all gone now. I no longer wear insoles and the hip pain has almost entirely gone.

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

Heidi Stäger, Owner cleaning company, Gais, Switzerland

I used to put more weight on my right foot, because it's longer. So I always stood on that one. And then it simply wasn't balanced any more, and with these shoes it somehow levels itself out, and I was standing much straighter. Even when sitting I notice that now, already, after a year – it takes a while, it's not from one day to the next – that I am simply sitting much straighter and everything's different. My whole posture is different. All of it.

Heidi Stäger, Owner cleaning company, Gais, Switzerland

Romeo Foletti, Uttwil Musical Society, Switzerland

It feels wobbly to begin with, but maybe that’s because you’re not used to it. I think it is a good product.

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

I have to say that I made tremendous progress within three months. I have to say that I made tremendous progress within three months. I was also able to walk evenly again, which I couldn’t do before. I constantly had to go easy and I didn’t have to do that afterwards. Now it did take 3 months, it didn’t happen overnight.

Ursula Langel from Thun, Switzerland

Lydia Zurfluh from Switzerland

I’m so happy to continue to be able to walk in these shoes – they’re such a relief for me. I don’t know how I would have managed or survived the year 2014 without kybun. I’m really not exaggerating when I say that it was the greatest fortune for me.

Lydia Zurfluh from Switzerland

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

I live in Rüti and there's been a kyBoot shop for some time. For a long time I thought I couldn't wear these special shoes. But one day I went into the shop and had a look at the shoes. I got some advice from a woman who spotted just what was wrong with my feet. Then I tried out various shoes and discovered that there are some shoes I can wear with my feet after all.

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

If the horse really pulls, then you have no chance in normal shoes. It's ideal for standing, and no problem going downhill on stony paths. I'm satisfied.

Priska Hirt, lives in Bubikon, Switzerland

When I’m standing, I notice that my body moves around quite a bit. You need to constantly adjust your position to stay comfortable. When you’re sitting, you’re always tensed up and you stay in the same position. Sometimes that can distract you from learning.

I often suffered from pain under my right shoulder. I would say after maybe one hour of practising. I tried everything. Gymnastics, physiotherapy, relaxation exercises while practising and afterwards too. All of this still led to unsatisfactory results. But since I’ve been practising on the kyBounder, I always stand on it and then get off and walk around a little bit. I don’t suffer from the pain any more. It’s incredible.

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

It's incredible to think that a shoe can make every sign of pain disappear. It’s really incredible. But it's the truth.

This shoe has a great grip – I was surprised to see that. I’ve worn my kybun hiking shoes at a ski resort, too. It was great. They’re also great in here, since I often stand in the same spots. The sole has an amazing grip to it.

Klaus Reimann, Sydney, Australia

Unbelievable good customer service. Shoes arrived in Australia and then did not fit. Returned at my cost and no freight charges on the return to Sydney. But, best of all these shoes are just the best ever. Put my custom fitted and hand made boots out of Texas ($1,200 a pair) away and only wear the kybun. Thank you for this great system.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

I do a lot of sport and have a good feel for what is going on in my body, so I notice when my shoes are giving me too much stress. With these shoes I'm far less overtaxed. On the other hand, it feels like I'm constantly exercising, as I'm never fully at rest.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

Liliane Schär, Author, Wil SG, Switzerland

I am 81 years old and suffer from painful arthrosis in my right ankle joint. Nevertheless, I have retained the power of positive thinking and the belief in relative physical well-being through exercise. In the elegant kybun shoe I found the shoe that gives the foot its full freedom of movement and strengthens it without getting tired. For me it is an indispensable source of strength in old age and a true gift.

Liliane Schär, Author, Wil SG, Switzerland

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Tyres are to cars as shoes are to people. It's your only contact with the ground. With tyres, that plays less of a role as you can change the parts in a car. You can do the same with people, too, but it's problematic, so it's very important for people to wear good, soft shoes. This is something I found out for myself, too.

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

Walking was lovely, really pleasant. It felt so soft, like on a gym mat. Until then I'd never come across a shoe with a feeling like that. At first I felt the muscles in my legs, but I found it much easier to walk than before. It was pleasant, and much more fun again.

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

My brother-in-law lives in our house two months a year. He comes over in the holidays with his children. Last summer he bought kyBoot shoes for the whole family. I asked him why he was now wearing kyBoot shoes, and he said that there was a special offer, but that he really believed in the shoes anyway. And now the whole family wears them. But now they're back in Canada. They'll be bringing the kyBoot back over here again, not just to wear them when doing sports but to wear in the home and everywhere else.

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Rolf Hässig, managing director at RH Reifen Service AG, Switzerland

Peter Rahm, Hallau, Switzerland

It took about three days to get used to it; no more, surprisingly enough. At the start your legs and hips just felt a bit more tired than usual. After that it was great. You couldn't ask for more; you feel relaxed and upbeat. You know that your back muscles are being strengthened and maybe even more. I'd recommend it to anyone. Watch the video

Erika Weiss, works in biomechanics, Switzerland

To me, it was like walking on clouds. Nice and soft. But after about a quarter of an hour I started to feel quite dizzy. At first I just did a little exercise at a time. So that it wouldn't be too much for me at first, as it was a challenge in terms of balance, too.

Erika Weiss, works in biomechanics, Switzerland

Robert Dönni, Montlingen, Switzerland

These shoes take a load off my knees and back when I’m walking. My postural defect when I walk also affects my joints. With these shoes I can correct my posture. Since the middle of December I have had far less trouble than before. In the night I can sleep much better as I am in far less pain. I can only recommend these shoes.

Robert Dönni, Montlingen, Switzerland

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

As your feet have to move about a lot more, somehow the calluses just go away. I don't have cracked skin any more in the winter. I always had really deep cracks in the heel and my entire foot, really. I don't have that at all any more. I do still have to rub cream in, as they are still quite dry, but it's not as bad as how it used to be.

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

At first it was difficult to break in the shoes. I could only walk in the shoes for 5 minutes a day and now, after 4–6 months, I can walk in the shoes for over a day. When I walk, my legs don't feel heavy any more. In the evening I lie in bed and my back is relaxed. I no longer have to tense myself for 10 minutes until it relaxes.

I play a relatively large instrument and when I walk wearing kyBoots, it’s a bit less wobbly. That makes it easier to blow.

When you're still young, it's easy to think that you don't need this kind of shoes. ..Maybe later, when I'm older... Now I'm happy that I bought a pair of kyBoot shoes at the trade show. I was able to try the shoes out there first. Now I'm not sorry about the outlay any more.

A sales rep once told me that he didn't have any back trouble any more since wearing kyBoot. I wanted to try them out too, and bought myself a pair of kyBoot shoes. I haven't had any problems since, either!

In 1998 I had a serious motorbike accident. Everything was shattered from the knee down. First they wanted to amputate my leg, but then, fortunately, for me, the doctors managed to save it. From then on I was in pain every day. I looked into ways to soothe the pain, and that's how I came across the kybun shoe.

In my work as a sales trainer, I stand pretty much every day for 8-10 hours. A few years ago, this created a real problem – tremendous pain in my feet. It started with incredibly sharp pain from the first step out of bed in the morning, and built strongly throughout the day, to the point I could barely focus on my work by lunchtime. My doctor told me it was a common ailment that affects people who stand or walk a lot, called plantar fasciitis. For years, I tried everything – softer shoes, inserts to reduce heel shock, sitting during my presentations, even acupuncture, but nothing worked. I spent thousands on these so-called “cures” without any relief. Then one day while walking (painfully) down the street in Oakville, Canada I came across a little sign that advertised “new Swiss shoes that promised tremendous walking comfort”. Inside the pharmacy, a very nice woman introduced me to the kybun shoe. Wow, the pain in my heels was already less after just a couple of hours in the kybun shoe. After returning to Switzerland, I bought a pair immediately and started wearing them in my day-to-day work. After 2 weeks, I noticed something amazing… I no longer felt my feet during the day. They were just there, comfortable, and happy. No pain, even after I took off my shoes in the evening. No pain in the morning when getting out of bed. I simply could not believe it. The pain in my feet is simply gone – it’s changed my life. Pain is no longer the focus of my every waking (or walking) minute and I can stand all day in my workshops in total comfort. I am thankful for this amazing invention. These are the most terrific shoes and they really have changed my life!

I have two herniated discs for the past 4 years, that bother me quite a lot. Since I started sleeping on the kySsen, the pain is more bearable and my spine is relieved. Its like laying on a cloud that adapts to my neck.   I can easily get out of bed without first sitting up on the bed side.  I can just up in one fell swoop and nothing hurts.

Stephanie Bärtsch, waitress, St. Margrethen, Switzerland

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

They're air-cushioned, which is very good for me, as I spend all day on my feet, mostly at markets or trade shows. In these, my feet hurt less - sometimes even not at all. I really enjoy wearing them. The sole is good, too: if you walk as much as I do, you have to throw out normal shoes every six months. I've now had these shoes for three months, but you still can't see any signs of it on the soles. They are comfortable shoes – absolutely wonderful!

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

The price put me off, as I thought to myself that if I was really satisfied with the shoes I would have to convince my husband too, as they would do him good as well. That would then be over 500 francs, lots of money. But all in all it was worthwhile – my husband really likes kybun shoes too!

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

Once you've got used to the kyBoot, you definitely have a better stance. We do have very strong dogs, and that makes it very hard to hold the dogs on the lead in normal sandals. In kyBoot I have a good stance, and above all it doesn't hurt if the dogs stand on my shoe with their claws. I like wearing them when we go out.

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

Priska Hirt, lives in Bubikon, Switzerland

It feels to me like walking on cotton wool. If at any time you don't have the shoes on, you miss the feeling and it's like walking on stones. It's completely unpleasant. I wouldn't want to give them up any more.

Priska Hirt, lives in Bubikon, Switzerland

Olivier van der Staal, chef, Renan, Switzerland

I was working for two months in Germany and visited a friend in St. Gallen. My wife went shopping and saw the shoes. After we'd eaten she said, “You have to try them!” I tried them out and spent all day walking round St. Gallen, and it was great. Then I started working in them. Yes – you can't describe it.

If I wear kyBoot shoes all week at work, I have a restful weekend. Before, it was the opposite: when I wore hard shoes and walked round in them all week, I was tired at the weekend, as my body couldn't take it any more and was totally exhausted.

When I take off my ski boots in the winter, after wearing them for six or seven hours, it is extremely important to make sure to keep the feet moving. Before I knew about a kybun shoe, I noticed that in the spring I was always making so many missteps. Back then, I clearly had much weaker muscles in my feet. I have things better under control now that I’ve started putting on my kybun shoes after skiing. Now I don’t usually notice a difference in the spring. As soon as I put on my trainers again, I can be sure that my feet will hold and not make any missteps.

Stefan Wolf, longtime professional player and 14-fold ex-International, Luzern, Switzerland

It's simply like being on an air mattress. It's much softer and shocks are absorbed. I can walk around normally without having to put too much thought into taking the pressure off my knee to stop the pain. That means that – in these shoes – I can walk absolutely normally, and I have the feeling that I walk much more gently, and I don't have any pain any more.

Stephan Lehmann, a former football star and goalkeeper coach, Hergiswil, Switzerland

I wear them every day: after all, I'm not 20 anymore. And as you get a bit older you naturally realise that your health comes first. I have long-term carry-over problems with my back and my knees – partly a legacy of my career, which was relatively long, so they certainly support me with that and help me continue to age well. I've now really found that they take the stress off me as after all, you do always have to use and activate even your smallest muscles, so they activate muscle fibres that might have slacked off a bit. And that's probably the key to success. I don't want to get all medical: I don't know enough about that, but I'm simply happy to have these shoes on my feet.

Stephan Lehmann, a former football star and goalkeeper coach, Hergiswil, Switzerland

Dr. med. Rolf Hohmeister, Consultant Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

Its an extraordinary sensation. I looked forward to the day when something like this would be developed. That it would actually be possible to create a cushion to protect healthy feet, using good shoes, to eliminate impacts and stop that jarring shock effect. And it's a feeling that really does go through your muscles, through your tendons, through your joints into your spine and so all the way to your head. You know, my first spontaneous thought was how nice it was to experience something new at age 70. You float, you sail through the countryside with a bounce in your step; when you stop, you feel fine standing about and stopping. You feel relaxed and have coordination and balance balance that go right up to your brain and make your hike even more enjoyable.  Watch the video

Prof. Dr. Christian Gäbler, specialist in trauma surgery following accidents and sports injuries, Vienna, Austria

"The kybun shoe means you can walk actively and healthily even on hard surfaces. The soft, unstable sole is kind on your joints, exercises your muscles, improves your balance and stimulates receptors in your feet. From a medical perspective I thus specially recommend the kybun shoe to patients with poor posture or knee problems."

Prof. Dr. Christian Gäbler, specialist in trauma surgery following accidents and sports injuries, Vienna, Austria

Dr. Konrad Birrer, SGSM senior physician for surgery and sports medicine, Luzern, Switzerland

"Proprioception (our sense of our body's movements and relative position) and proprioceptive training are very important to avoid injury. The kybun shoe is an effective tool for such training sessions; it can be worn the whole time and is very comfortable. It means that you are involved in a kind of constant training session without having to make a lot of effort. In the end I was able to try out the effect myself. Without any specific therapy, just from wearing the kybun shoe, I was able to cure my Achilles tendonitis: the unstable sole strengthened the muscles stabilising my ankle joints, taking the burden off the rest of my overstressed muscles. I recommend the kybun shoe following injuries to the lower extremities, for jobs in standing positions, for sportspeople and for the elderly, to prevent falls."

Dr. Konrad Birrer, SGSM senior physician for surgery and sports medicine, Luzern, Switzerland

I’m addicted to kybun shoes. These shoes make even a couch potato into a keen walker. It is such a pleasure: like being packed in cotton wool, combined with a rocking, yet stable sole. I’ve worn them every day for a month and never want to be parted from them. I knew the phrase “A dog is man’s best friend”, but now I also know the saying “A shoe is man’s best friend.” I am very happy to trust them as an intermediary between my feet and the ground.

The shoes' soft sole make standing far more pleasant. It's a real relief to me. At first I couldn't really get my grip in these shoes, but that changed over time. Dr Andreas Gösele-Koppenburg, head of the Swiss Olympic Medical Center, Medical Director of Crossklinik Basel, Switzerland

Working as a sports doctor for the Canadian bob team gave me the chance to test out the kybun shoe in everyday use and during light sports activities. I was very impressed by the kybun shoe concept. Walking is very pleasant, and above all it very much activates the body. You can feel that the sole is a very good shock absorber and moves in all directions, but it never feels unstable or unpleasant. I myself suffer from foot problems, as I have very high arches, with the ball of the foot often having to bear a very heavy load. The shoe suited my foot shape and needs from the very start, and I have been able to wear shoes without insoles for the first time in many years.

I tip everyone off. It's really an absolutely brilliant shoe. Especially in our branch, where you look out for your health. We learn to be in a relaxed posture and all the tension you have is passed on to the horse. If your energy doesn't flow through any more, there's no flow to the horse either. That's why it's important for all therapists working with horses or people to maintain perfect posture.

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

At first it's an unusual feeling. The sales assistant said it felt like you were walking barefoot or on moss. It feels quite close to what it did in the old days, as I grew up the son of a farmer, and we used to run around a lot barefoot. It's nice and soft, and you feel good in them. I could wear the shoes all day without any problem.

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

One advantage is that you're not as tired in the evening, and don't have such bad knee pain. One disadvantage is that you have to get used to the shoes at the start. At first it's tough, until you've built up the muscles. But at some point it's no longer an issue. In the winter I'll have to try out the shoes with a higher shaft, or the snow will get in the top.

Patrick Odermatt, Workshop manager at MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Rolf Hässig, managing director at RH Reifen Service AG, Switzerland

I walk round the shop all day. As I'm often on my feet, the kyBoot is the best for me.

Rolf Hässig, managing director at RH Reifen Service AG, Switzerland

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

The kybun shoe is very comfortable. That's important to me. I'd rather mind the pennies elsewhere, as this shoe has changed my life. It means a great deal to me!

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

It was a new experience for me. When they say, “walking on air”, that actually describes the sensation. Walking light as a feather really is wonderful.

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

Erika Weiss, works in biomechanics, Switzerland

At first it was very hard working raising the intensity of exercise in kyBoot shoes. I got tired faster, but now I don't notice it any more. It's just harder work when I walk uphill. But I do have the feeling that it does me good. It's like exercise.

Erika Weiss, works in biomechanics, Switzerland

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

The kyBoot is of greatbenefit to me. First of all, it helped with my knee problem, and then it helped with my heel spurs. That was the key thing. But my knees even hurt less, too,and it stimulates your circulation.

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Hansruedi Poschung from Thun, Switzerland

The shoes are suitable for walking on cobbles or in the woods, and they’re great in winter when the ground is slippery. You won’t slip in these shoes when the ground is slippery. This used to happen to me a lot with other shoes and I would always fall over. It’s never happened with these shoes.

Hansruedi Poschung from Thun, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

The really big advantage is safety. I noticed that when the floor is wet from daily mopping (I have three cats that bring the dirt in from outside) it's incredibly dangerous in conventional shoes. But the kyBoot simply grips. It's simply good. I feel totally safe!

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Alex Tachie-Mensah, Ex Professional Footballer, Andwil TG, Switzerland

I owe so much to the kybun shoe for making the pain from my serious injury a distant memory. Since I started wearing the shoe, my limp has practically disappeared.

Manuela Fellner, singer and Swiss Grand Prix champion, Switzerland

I can tell that my feet are getting a lot stronger. I have a much better feeling in my high heels, for example. Because I wear kybun shoes every day, my foot muscles have a lot more exercise than before.

Manuela Fellner, singer and Swiss Grand Prix champion, Switzerland

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

I think it's great that the kyBoot is made in Switzerland. It creates local jobs. I'm happy to pay a little more as I know that they're good shoes.

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

When the assistant was advising me I realised that for the first time I was wearing shoes that didn't pinch. So I decided to buy a pair. When I got talking to my orthopaedist, he was very sceptical and said that lots of people came back to him disappointed by kybun shoes, complaining of even greater pain. I took the warning seriously and asked myself what that might be all about. When you feel better, you tend to get quite fussy. I thought that was probably the mistake people were making. If you wear insoles for a long time, your foot muscles are weak. So I started wearing the kybun shoe and the shoe with insoles alternately, and gradually built up the intensity. I could feel my whole body getting fitter. Today I spend one day a week out with the dogs and might walk up to five-and-a-half hours. That's already possible, even though I've only been wearing the kybun shoes a short time. At the end of the day I can feel it in my feet, but the next day it's OK again.

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

Peter Freund from Appenzell, Switzerland

It resulted in some sore muscles, because the position was unfamiliar. It was airy, but you get used to it and now I enjoy it a lot. I also feel the relief in my knees.

Priska Hirt, is training to be an equine physiotherapist, Switzerland

I've always had back pain, for as long as I can remember. It spread into my legs giving me sleepless nights. After I'd really tried out almost everything, I thought this would be worth my while now. Especially as I know that your shoes are hugely important, and look out for it. So I went into a shop one day and had a look at everything. At first they gave me some shoes to try out, which I thought was great. I didn't want to spend that much money at first. I'd then only had these shoes on for 5 or 10 minutes when my knee hurt. At first I was appalled. They'd warned me about it, but I wouldn't have thought it would hurt that much. And then I was given a kyBounder and told to exercise on it 6–7 times a day. After just two weeks I realised that I could now stand on it on one leg without it hurting. Then I brought the mat back and bought my first pair of shoes. I haven't had any problems since.

Priska Hirt, is training to be an equine physiotherapist, Switzerland

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

At first I was really tired. I had the kyBoot shoes on for 2–3 hours and then felt tired. My legs grew heavy. I don't have that feeling any more. You have to get used to it. You're using different muscles than in normal shoes, that's my interpretation, anyway.

Imelda Angehrn, dog breeder from Gossau, Switzerland

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Well, of course you probably have to get used to them first, but for me it was very pleasant straight from the outset, so I started wearing the kybun shoe all the time, right from day one.

Dora Huguenin, museum tour guide in Le Locle, Switzerland

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

I wear the kyBoot in everyday life. When I'm in the house or at work I often wear the insoles. But as soon as I leave the house I put on the kyBoot. The kyBoot is the most comfortable shoe I own right now.

Rafaela Hayden, had a deformed foot, Switzerland

Leo Schranzer, chef at Stütlihus in Grabs, Switzerland

They're soft and comfortable. I've even got on the walking boots; I'm trying them out for the first time. I was allowed to test some work shoes for 14 days. They're very good for walking. At first my feet were a little sore, and I had a painful spot in my right foot from an inflammation: that hasn't gone away yet. But they're very pleasant to walk in.

Leo Schranzer, chef at Stütlihus in Grabs, Switzerland

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

At first I would have laughed at anyone who'd told me how great the kyBoot is. After wearing the kyBoot myself and discovering how much good they do me, I believe what the adverts say.

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

I sometimes wear a suit and tie, so it's important to me to have shoes that also go with that kind of clothing. Like the shoes I'm wearing now. I wear these shoes at work, in my free time, on the water; I even wear the kybun shoe in Thailand.

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

Barbara Pledl, works in the Luchsinger butcher’s shop, Switzerland

I had a heel spur this summer, so I went to the chemist's and wailed that I needed some pills. Instead, the sales assistant gave me a pair of kyBoot shoes. I never took them off again. After that, I heard there was a kybun shop in Rüti, and since then I've bought another two pairs.

I feel like I'm on clouds. I mean, it's very comfortable and I feel lighter.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

It was a trial. After I'd stood in them for two hours I still felt great. I then waited another 9 months before I finally bought these shoes. After that I worked four days at a holiday trade show, two of which I spent standing, but I had no back pain. Now I'm a fan and believe in these shoes.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

Doris Blum from Bern, Switzerland

I think they are just as important here as they are outside. I also have hard floor surfaces in the house, making a soft insole very comfortable. Beyond that, I’m also thinking about my fitness. I want to do something for my health every day. Ideally, I’d do gymnastics or go jogging every day, but that isn’t always possible. When I wear these shoes, my legs feel like they’ve had a workout.

Doris Blum from Bern, Switzerland

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzeland

My experience with kybun has been very pleasant for me, not only with the shoes, but also with the company. I've found the conversations that I've had with lots of kybun staff very good. And it's been a very special experience for me to visit the kybun Tower.

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzeland

Erika Weiss, works in biomechanics, Switzerland

I have riders and learner riders who have difficulties because they might have had an accident or not have a structured life. I've recommended the kyBoot to such people; told them to try it out.

René Keusen, deputy head of logistics for the Cantonal Court of Zurich, Switzerland

I gave my workmate mykyBoot shoes. He's a huge fan,and has since bought himself two pairs as well.
He never wants to be without them, either. Healways wears them in his free time, too.

René Keusen, deputy head of logistics for the Cantonal Court of Zurich, Switzerland

Manuela Fellner, singer and Swiss Grand Prix champion, Switzerland

My posture has improved. I walk nice and upright and don't have any pain in my upper body any more, especially my shoulders. It feels like your stomach, legs and bottom are being toned. It's a great physical feeling!

Manuela Fellner, singer and Swiss Grand Prix champion, Switzerland

Alida Palamara, landlady at Friulana Osteria and Pizzeria, Munich, Germany

I went to the orthopaedist and was told to wear insoles, but then I tried these shoes and it got much better.

Priska Hirt, is training to be an equine physiotherapist, Switzerland

I'm actually training to be a horse physiotherapist. And the kyBoot gave me back the hope that I would be able to go through with it after all. Before, I wasn't able to stand for more than an hour. Since I got the kyBoot I have been able to walk about for over 12 hours and stand without getting tired legs, without any pain or fear of not being able to sleep at night. Thanks to the kyBoot I'm heading for my dream job. That's why I'm now so happy and recommending it.

Priska Hirt, is training to be an equine physiotherapist, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

At first I wasn't at all sure whether the kyBoot would do me any good. But after that I started to like the warmth the shoes give me, and the feeling that walking is different. All in all, I can say that the shoes do me good. I couldn't say what it is exactly that the kyBoot shoes do to me, but I have to keep on wearing them or my muscles start aching again.

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

I can feel a huge difference. I feel a lot better and don't wear my insoles any more.

Rene Leuppi, state-certified insurance specialist, Switzerland

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

There are some who say that it's so spongy, they can hardly climb the stairs any more. But I haven't had any problems at all, myself. It's like when you get bifocals: them first, too. Because the distance is quite different to what your eyes are used to. It's the same with everything. You just have to get used to it a bit. Now, if I'm not wearing kyBoot shoes, I notice the difference straight away: it's like having to walk on boards. That's the problem. Now, if I wear other shoes, of course it's very often harder and sometimes I have the feeling as if I'm walking on the tarmac with bare feet. That's simply the difference. So I'm a huge fan; they're really something great.

Jürg Sieber, adviser at Nahrin, Widnau, Switzerland

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

At first I deliberately drew my colleagues' attention to my new, sexy shoes. It was important to me to show that I hadn't chosen that look. Now it's a running gag. Now plenty of others have bought shoes like these. Quality has triumphed. The new shoes I've seen are looking better and better. The black ones are discreet. I'd like to buy another pair for speed-walking. And I'd like to get a pair of these for walking in flat country, too.

Pascal Wieser, CEO of Vögele Reisen AG, Switzerland

Olivier van der Staal, chef, Renan, Switzerland

When you stand all day, are always on your feet and don't get any breaks, though you move about a lot, you can feel it in your feet, your legs and your back. It comes from working too much. I've never had a problem, but with kybun shoes you can work a great deal, and that's very pleasant, of course.

Olivier van der Staal, chef, Renan, Switzerland

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

When you consider that a heart attack is rated ten on the pain scale, then I would rate my pain at three or four. Since I’ve started using the kybun mat, I can safely say that I have zero pain.

Cetin Köksal, professional musician, Switzerland

Armin Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Yes, walking is pleasant. And you have warm feet. It's comfortable and you feel good in them.

Armin Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

I had back pain, and on top of that my left leg is 2.5 cm too short. I'd tried almost everything. It's a congenital defect. At first I wore MBT shoes. I thought they were the best there is, but I couldn't walk in them. Even the specialists said I couldn't walk in them. I looked a bit further afield and came across the kyBoot. Thanks to someone working at the chemist's, ho let me take the shoes home straight away, I was able to try the shoes out. I wasn't convinced immediately; it felt strange and they "wobbled about” a bit. She actually said that my muscles might ache, but I didn't get that during the trial period, only later. After I'd got over the whole thing, I have to say that they're really great. No more cold feet. We already have three pairs and I'm getting another pair soon.

Romy Ziltener, Weesen am Walensee, Switzerland

Peter Meier, founder of MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

I came across kyBoot because I had back pain. My back had to deal with frequent jarring and it was painful. Then a customer pointed them out to me. She said I should try out softer shoes for a change. Then I tried out the kyBoot, and it got much better within a short time.

Peter Meier, founder of MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

I've been wearing these shoes for a year and my problems have all gone: no lumbago, nothing. It's just vanished.

Heidi Stäger, Owner Cleaning Company, Gais, Switzerland

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

I discovered the kyBoot when I was on holiday in Canada. I saw the sign "Swiss Technology walking on air" and my daughter said I should try on the shoes. Before, I wore MBT shoes. But the problem with MBT was that they were made for walking and not for standing. I work as a sales Manager and run workshops on sales techniques, so I have to stand all day long. It's quite different to walking. The dynamics are entirely different. The kyBoot is much better suited to standing. It's incredible to me.

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

Tamara Zäch, Switzerland

I find it very pleasant. It feels to me like walking on a forest floor. It feels very pleasant in your joints;in your hips and knees. It's really nice and soft. It's very pleasant.

Tamara Zäch, Switzerland

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

My condition has improved. You get leg exercise all day long. In my opinion this product is definitely worth buying!

Gopal Rajguru, sales coach, Switzerland

Santo Palamara, owner of Friulana Osteria and Pizzeria, Munich, Germany

Some friends recommended the kyBoot to me. Then I tried out my first pair and was satisfied, but I was even more satisfied with the second pair. It's much better, and I can really enjoy myself now, even in the evening after all those hours.

Santo Palamara, owner of Friulana Osteria and Pizzeria, Munich, Germany

I can honestly say that the shoes have changed my life.

Of course it would be perfect, and I'd be the No. 1 buyer, if there were kyBoot shoes for donkeys and horses. I have donkeys, too. It would be a huge gap on the market, of course, and would help them.

Peter Meier, founder of MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

The sole is excellent: it's very resistant, even against chemicals. No damage at all. The kyBoot has a fine tread, which is more of an advantage to us, as the sole is soft and adapts to every bump.

Peter Meier, founder of MP Garage in Au, Switzerland

Rafaela Hayden, lives in Rüti, Switzerland

For me, walking in kyBoot shoes is like walking on a sandy beach. The shoes are soft, but not completely. They're simply comfortable.

Rafaela Hayden, lives in Rüti, Switzerland

The first time I wore the kyBoot I felt on cloud nine. It was a floaty feeling. I had to get used to it at first.

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

I'd recommend the kyBoot to anyone. Especially if you have trouble with your knees or back. It gives you much greater quality of life. Until now, I've never found any other shoe that's been of as much help.

Marco Hanselmann, lives in Appenzell, Switzerland

Urs Leuenberger, choirmaster, Switzerland

I haven't exercised much on the kybun mat, as I was sitting at the piano. But when I stood on it, it was good. It does me good. I noticed it again, too; you're constantly moving about.
